Remains to be seen how durable it will be since I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but for now it's pleasantly smooth. No real effect on my gaming, but better than risking the chance of roughing up the wood on my desk.

The laser couldn't recognize this mouse mat at all. I got the SteelSeries version and they worked wonders! I guess the SteelSeries has better materials.

I just wasn't too fond of the look of it after I placed it on my desk. Nothing special it does from the 11.00 all black one I bought. If you like the design its nice while its on sale.

Unfortunately the edge stitching is larger then the pad and very stiff so it cause pain in your forearm as it rests against it.
