I purchased this to cover most of my desk. Now I can place my phone, watch, etc on top without having to worry that either the device or my desk gets scratch.

Very soft and causes no tracking issues. I have had no concerns for style because it matches everything. So go get one, stop being held back from being an epic gamer or whatever you use your mouse for.

Pretty much covers the top of my desk, which is about the length of the pad. Has not been balling up at all either. Still looks like the day i got it.
