The surface has a nice texture and the build quality seems excellent. It's huge, check that you have enough space on your desk.

I'm not the biggest fan of the stitching that holds the RGB strip to the pad, it's like a fishing wire, but it's not a deal breaker. I don't regret my purchase.

The problem is it doesn't stay flat around the edges. It's a give and take because online it doesn't seem like everyone has this problem. I returned mine after 2 days.
