Customers are saying

Customers find value in the Nightsword RGB's adjustable weight, comfortable feel, and overall performance. Many appreciate the customizable RGB lighting, suitable size, and comfortable thumb rest. However, some users find the button placement less than ideal, and others have noted inconsistencies with the software. A few customers also feel the mouse is somewhat expensive.

Great mouse if you can snag it when there is a deal. Changing the weights is helpful if you are using a mouse pad that has any type of incline on it. I've noticed that I am able to control movement of on screen characters much better with a little heftier mouse. Icue recognized device easily, and firmware update was easy and successful on the first try. I would recommend this. I knocked one star off only because the cord does not seem as sturdy as on my Death Adder. We will see how long this lasts.

Beat one of these to death. Just replaced it with an identical model. The old one was still running fine, but the grip was all worn off, and the right click was a little worn out. If still current, would replace a third time. Great mouse!

This mouse is super great, feels great in hand while using it. Setup is super easy and the option to add weight is also super great. The layout for the extra buttons is also good in my opinion and are fantastic for Macros. The only bad thing i can say about this mouse is out of the 4 that i have gotten!! Yes i bought this mouse 4 times well of course i do buy the protection plan so i have replaced 2 of them. The left click tends to go out pretty fast depending on the games you play. I have had the same problem with 3 of them and so far my 4th is holding out but when your left click starts to go bad you get tons of double clicking no mater what you do and not long after you lose all function on it. I have reaet the mouse multiple times but it only fixes it for an hour max two n it goes back to the double clicking and finally stops working. With that being said i would still recommend it because its a fantastic mouse, just make sure you get your replacement plan for it and call it a day.

Absolutely love this mouse. its super comfortable and glides really well. The thumb buttons are easy to reach for a smaller hand by just tilting the mouse a little over which shouldnt affect gameplay too much except in FPS games. the two buttons next to left click can be a little hard to get to or know which one you hit sometimes. a tacticle bump or something would have been nice but otherwise this mouse performs flawlessly

Love this mouse for gaming. I love that you cab control the weight by being able to put in or take them out. I also love the slowed movement button to slow how fast your mouse is moving. For the $ its worth it

This mouse is really great and built for gamers in mind. The thumb rest and macro keys are the major selling point here for me. Using any other mouse feels ever so slightly off now. It really is a game changer for my gaming on my computer or even just long work sessions. However, Corsair's ICUE software, which is required to take full advantage of the mouse can be a bit overwhelming to workout. With a lot of time spent in it though, you can really optimize this mouse.

Will hopefully be the last mouse I ever buy. Kept having issues with connections with the BT mouse and was messing me up gaming. With this wired mouse I am actually a little better, not much, but no more stuttering. I only use one profile bc the profile button up top gets hit on accident. Also there is no endless scroll. Otherwise great mouse! And it fits my big hands well!! I used all the weights too, they are nice, I will never move them.

    Possible G502 replacement

I've been using Logitech peripherals for a while now and my previous mouse was the G502.....three times. I started having double clicking issues, contacted Logitech, got a replacement, it started happening again, got another replacement. The third mouse started doing it too! I gave up and decided to deal with the issue but then the G-Hub software started acting all wonky and not always pushing the correct profile for the right game, not running at all or straight up crashing! I got fed up and decided to leave Logitech all together. I've been eyeing Corsair for a long while and finally made the switch. This is where this mouse comes in. The G502 has 3 side buttons (one of them being the "sniper" button and two additional buttons on the left click button for DPI switching. Lastly there is a button underneath the wheel and the freewheel release button(?) All these buttons are programmable and I used them in different manners for each game. So going away from this mouse meant I needed to find something with the same amount of buttons. Corsair has many mice but only the NightSword can match the G502 is amount of programmable buttons. All 3 side buttons, 2 top left buttons and 2 middle buttons under the wheel (one more than the G502). The mouse has the same shape as well which meant transitioning wouldn't be a pain. Additionally, Corsair offers one of the most feature packed software, iCue and I've been having a blast setting up profiles with different actions and lightning effects. Speaking of lighting, this mouse has many lightning zones all around that makes it looks really good, whereas the G502 only had a light up G logo and one small side light to the left. Unfortunately, the Corsair NightSword isn't perfect. The 3 side buttons are positioned further away from my thumb than it did on the G502, causing me to click the wrong button and having to stretch out my thumb more, which I'm not used to (yet). Another issue I've found is that the buttons feel "mushy". I've compared this to their other mice like the M65 and the DarkCore and those two have better feeling buttons. I've been using the NightSword for about 2 weeks and I'm adjusting more and more each day so hopefully some of my problems will become a thing of the past because otherwise I really like this mouse.

I tried this mouse out in the store but I didn't realize a few things until after I got it home and used it for a few hours: Its BIG. I thought I had pretty big hands until I started using it and realized it was almost half an inch bigger lengthwise, width wise and even height wise than my old mouse, which makes it kind of uncomfortable to hold, I can't rest my wrist on the table anymore because of it's height, so when I do my fingers are noticeably further back on the body of the mouse, and the wingtip for your thumb on the left side of the mouse? It works if you keep your hand directly on top of the mouse, but if you rest your wrist on the desktop like I do, my thumb is so far back on the wingtip that it makes the wingtip almost useless ergonomically. PROS Performance wise this mouse blows my old gaming mouse out of the water, it performs noticeably faster and more accurately than my 6 year old Razer mouse. The customizable weighting is nice, and the thumb pad is a cool ergonomic choice. CONS This mouse is almost 1/2 an inch wider, longer and taller than my old mouse, making it difficult to hold with my wrist resting on the table. If you have small/medium hands, relatively short fingers, or like to rest your wrist on your table/desktop, this mouse will be difficult to use. Would I recommend this? To someone with big hands or someone who "floats" their wrists, yes.

Let me start by saying that i believe this is a really good mouse. For some, this could actually be a great mouse. Do not go with this mouse if you do not have a big hand (and an extra long thumb) and/or if you like to use a claw grip. I have a medium sized hand and felt as if i had no control because it seemed as if my hand had to stretch to be able to use it. Specifically, if i wanted to use the sniper button, i had to rotate my hand in order to use it. Now, i will say it was easier to use the sniper button than it was the Logitech g502 hero (ended up hating that mouse, btw). Ended up taking this mouse back and exchanging it for the m65 ultra. Which is much, much better for someone with medium to smaller hands. The m65 ultra earns 5 stars in my opinion.
