CORSAIR - PLATINUM K95
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard is noisy, but kid wanted it due to the quickness to respond. Eventually we bought a quieter Corsair keyboard which is much quieter.

Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice keyboard, overpriced to me. It didn't sit flat on my desk without the attachment at the bottom for the wrist support.

I'm sorry to hear that, was it because of the protrusions on the desk, if any? Please do reach out to us and we can take a look to see if the issues lies with the keyboard itself: support.corsair.com

Many technical issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful keyboard with many features that you could use but had so many technical errors. Couldn't use full functionality of it because it would constantly "turn off" on me. With many youtube tutorials and emails back and forth to Corsair the only thing that has worked so far is plugging it into the front usb port. Hopefully works better for you because otherwise its a great addition to my RGB setup.

Perfect so far!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an avid user of MX Blue switches for years I purchased another brand of gaming keyboard when it came out about 4 years ago. While it didn't provide the tactile or audible response I was looking for initially it was an amazing keyboard and worked well with all my other peripherals (only 1 gaming software program running). As I'm doing more typing on my system for work I've felt that keyboard was truly lacking from a typing standpoint. When I saw the K95 with the MX Browns was on sale I grabbed it. After only 1 week, and a great deal of typing plus 2 nights of raiding and some FPS gaming as well, I'm in love. The MX Browns work great for gaming but for typing, the bounce back makes a huge difference when typing for long periods of time. The RGB lighting is amazing, the top bar puts out a lot of light in a dark room and the newer version of the CUE software works well and takes minimal resources. I've used another brand exclusively for years, more than 20 years in regards to their mice but thus far I'm really happy with this Corsair K95 and the other peripherals that go with it! I would HIGHLY recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking not only for a great gaming keyboard but also loves and must use it for typing as well.

The ultimate gaming keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little hesitant to spend $150 on a keyboard, but when I got it home and opened up the box, I could tell this thing was worth every penny! The keyboard is solid, heavy, and as soon as you power on your pc, the dazzling light show begins. Awesome RGB lighting effects, endless customization, very useful roller switch volume control, usb pass through, good software with firmware updates, quiet and quick switchable keys, and onboard profiles make this a future proof keyboard to end all keyboards. If you can afford it, just buy it already!

The keyboard is fine, the software is useless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the keyboard itself. But Corsair's software is so bad as to be infuriatingly useless. Razer's software is intuitive and generally useful to do what you need to do. Corsair's is either impossible or so obtuse as to be impossible. I very much regret spending this much for half a product.

It would not work properly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard was not able to work with the BIOS in my current gaming system. It would constantly freeze up and it was not recognized by the computer. I had to return it for a different keyboard.

Nice keyboard!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is very platinum, like the name. It has satisfying brown switches, which have a tactile bump, but are silent, like the reds. They are both good for typing and gaming, and I recommend this to you if you are doing both. It's still an expensive board, and don't ignore the fact that it has a nice metal construction, premium Cherry MX switches from Germany, RGB everywhere, and a very well constructed board. But still, there are cheaper options. The K68 for example, is a great board, and has similar features. Thank you for reading my review.

Great Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair K95 keyboard has been a great mechanical keyboard to use for both gaming as well as work and school work. The keys are incredibly responsive with a good click sound that mechanical keyboards are known for. The RGB lighting control software allows for customization and various light patterns if you're into keyboard lighting. The keyboard is heavy and very well build. I'm sure I will get many years of use out of the product.

My favorite keyboard I have ever owned!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owning this keyboard is an experience in itself. The MX Brown switches deliver a fully optimized combination of linear and clicky keys to deliver quiet, quick, and satisfying switch performance. In addition, this keyboard comes equipped with a plethora of nice features, including macro keys, dedicated media keys with a premium aluminum dial, an all-metal front plate, a double-sided soft wrist rest, and one of the most customizable and extensive RGB systems available for a keyboard on the market. This keyboard has allowed me to increase my GWAM from 75 words per minute to an average of 95 wpm. TLDR; very well worth the money, especially at its sale price of $140.

A good but expensive keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good: - The colors are vibrant - The color bar at the time - The keys themselves are quitter than say a blue/green keyboard - Each key can have its own color - All the keys are lit, including the space bar The bad: - The space bar and back space keys are much louder than the other keys - The software isn't the most intuitive when it comes to configuring the individual colors of the keys - The K95's are expensive relative to other keyboards Final thoughts - When I'm bashing out text such as here, it is generally quieter than other keyboards - This seems to work fine for both typing such as here and in game - It comes it a tool along with several textured keys (WSAD, and a few others) so that you can swap out the default keys for the textured ones. Not something for me but others might appreciate it - I would've preferred a 4 1/2 star, but I had to take one off for the louder space bar and backspace along with the not-so-optimal software

Great, if a little expensive at full price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great switches - great feel/feedback without a ton of clacking. Love the volume roller and dedicated media keys - something that I really missed on my previous BlackWidow. The LED bling (and customization software) is great and I find it to be pretty useful, 'specially when starting a new game or swapping between games - color-coding helps to flatten out the learning curve and serves as a quick reminder of the key bindings with a quick glance. I could see this being useful/productive for keyboard shortcuts with photo/audio/video editing apps, too.

An excellent keyboard for regular work and gaming.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this keyboard. It takes a bit of getting used to for me since I am used to typing on a regular keyboard, but it's well worth it. Lights are nice and bright and I also like the built in volume controls and macro keys. Built in RGB controls are a plus when I occasionally boot into Linux as the Corsair iCue software is not supported on Linux. The RGB bar that goes all the way across the top of the keyboard is really a finishing touch. Always sticking with Corsair for my gaming needs.
