Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a wonderfully made keyboard that is very sturdy and has vibrant lighting. Excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's my first time ever owning a gaming PC. And when it came to getting a keyboard.... I knew it had to be corsair. I came down to the decision of the rgb platinum because of it's awesome, easily accessible profile switches. And the USB port for the reroute of your mouse. Really high quality material. 10/10 reccomend y'all.

Simply Amazing!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous keyboards inlude razer black widow v2 green switches and Logitech g910 Orion spark. The k95 platinum I bought was with brown switches. I am simply blown away by the build quality and customization of this keyboard. The amount of custom RGB profiles available online is vast and plentiful. I have never used cherry MX switches before so choosing brown would be a good middle ground. In all the brown switches are perfect for gaming and typing needs. If you are looking for a pure gaming keyboard I would suggest the speed switches which are similar to the ones on a Logitech g910 Orion spark / spectrum. I would often have problems with my previous keyboards moving around on me. This one does not move whatsoever. And the dual sided wrist rest is up to par. I decided to buy this since it was on sale for $170, only $30 more than the k70 series. Two thumbs up here.

very sensitive.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works decent as a gaming key board, but easy to hit the wrong button from how sensitive the keys are wich could cost you a win in what ever games you play. almost too responsive for typing paragraphs or anything of that nature the keys are extremely difficult. not hard to hit the wrong key by barley brushing over it. looks great. i like the lights. and the audio controls. but definitely a lil too pricey in my opinion. iv had multiple friends play/work on my computer and have all had that complaint of the keys being too sensitive to the touch.

Posted .Sorry this wasn't the keyboard that works best for you, I'd recommend returning this one if brown switches are not what you intended to get.

Don't Waste Your Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a new custom built gaming desktop and also needed a keyboard. This top of the line Corsair K95 was available as an accessory. The company I bought it from had a 30 day return on their accessories. However, after the return policy expired I began having all sorts of problems. I would get into detail here but there were just too many to list. It basically stopped working properly. At $200 I wanted my money back and had no interest of replacing it. I contacted Corsairs customer service for a refund. They assured me they would give me a refund. This turned out to be a long drawn out process that took nearly 2 1/2 months. In the mean time I needed to buy another keyboard just to get by. My Advise, Don't waste your money on this. I've since switched to SteelSeries. Their keyboards, mice and headsets are built solid and made to last.

Posted .Hi,
Sorry to hear about your discontent with the keyboard. Refunds do take a longer time as they have to be approved by our finance department and are not part of the normal process of exchange/RMA.

Would not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two of these keyboards and ended up returning both, for two different reasons. The first completely stopped working after a week. Tried unplugging it multiple times and the lights wouldn't even come on. I gave up and figured it was a fluke so I returned it and purchased another. Within the first couple days I realized it was NOT going to work out. The Corsair software is atrocious - they've had a bug for years where the lights stop working and you have to force a firmware update to fix it. In my case this was happening multiple times a day. 100% unacceptable and Corsair seems to have no interest in fixing it, so I returned the 2nd one and went Logitech. Logitech works flawlessly, no issues after multiple months of use.

RGB Lighting In Keys Failing Just Over 30 Days
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Followed all online documentation via Corsair's Website, reinstalled Icue Software and Hardware within Windows 10 without resolution. RGB Lighting flickers in regions and some keys have lost certain RGB Colors but not all. For MSRP of $200, this keyboard does not really stand out. Noise is terrible and well quality control of products these days just assume you'll have to go to great lengths to plus addition funds thru RMA Process and be without. Opened a Support Ticket today with Corsair and can almost guarantee there will be stress and cost assumed. Do not expect Best Buy under any circumstance of any product once they have an out to utilize. I purchased this after removing any and all products from Steel Series following a 3 month valid RMA with them regarding a Steel Series Artis 7 Headset. Just so disappointed in consumer products anymore and why am I always having issues with products sold by Best Buy?
