Worth Every Penny
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this keyboard a few months ago because I needed a new one a decided why not just go big, was not disappointing. Had gotten one, brought it how, tried it for a bit but the lights kept going out randomly for some reason. Tried everything under the sun to fix it but nothing worked for long. Brought it in to exchange, got a new one and the same thing happened. Later found out it was just my USB driver needed an update (made me feel like a bit of a fool for exchanging a perfectly good keyboard because of the only thing i didn't think of). Takes a little time to figure out how to change lighting and set some profiles, but after you figure it out they keyboard is great. Makes click sounds when you type but its just load enough for you to know you hit your key and don't have to spam them (yay no more smashed keys). Colors are very vibrant, typing is very smooth, is a bit smaller then the keyboard i was using and possibly a bit smaller then a normal keyboard you might find at a library so it does take some getting used to at first, but after you do you wont be disappointed.

great rgb gaming keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is great! It has super fast response and some of the best lighting I have seen on a keyboard. really solid build with the aluminum frame , and the wrist wrest is extremely comfortable. The only thing about this keyboard to complain about would be the clicking from typing, and its not terrible but it is considerbily louder then my logitech orion g910. But i still give this 5 stars because the clicking is such a minimul part and the keyboard. The funchion and lighting effects are great

THAT QUALITY IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating on getting this keyboard or the Raver blackwidow chroma v2, but I'm definitely happy I've made the right choice! I ordered this on 11/25 and it came today (11/27) and I chose free shipping too! I got this keyboard during black Friday for a cheaper price of $100 (which is $60 less than the original price). I just opened it and I had no trouble setting it up and downloading the software. Quality= Very clicky, and not as nosy as people say it is. It's extremely satisfying to the point where I can open a keyboard ASMR youtube channel. Colors= Variety of options to choose from and it's sooo fascinating to watch, but it's not a distraction when gaming.Wrist Rest= Comfortable, soft plastic and glad it's not a plush one, since it's repellent to the sweat. Overall, this was an amazing upgrade from a regular keyboard to a keyboard that absolutely blew my mind and exceeded my standards.

Excellent Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced this keyboard with my old Roccat Isku. It was no longer being supported by Roccat. I saw this board on sale and purchased it. I really like it. I match it with a M65 mouse. Like my setup. I would recommend it.

Great hardware ruined by poor software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got the Corsair K70 Vengeance and decided I'd like a colorful upgrade so I grabbed the Rapidfire while it was on sale. It's a solid keyboard and every bit as good as my old K70, but since it could assign macros I wanted to go ahead and add that to my gaming. This is where it fails massively. Two out of four gaming sessions I've had stuck macros that wouldn't stop until I force quit the Corsair gaming program. If this keyboard came sans macroing software I'd probably keep it. But it does, and I used and it's ticked me off it's going back in the box and back to BB. It's a shame how bad the software is for such a beautiful keyboard.

Great Build - Useless Software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard in-store about three weeks ago. The build quality is great, the Cherry-Speed keys were way too sensitive for me at first, but I'm getting used to it. My biggest issue is that the way I rest on WASD, my resting weight on A triggers it and I start running sideways regularly. It was pretty irritating until I figured it out. So the hardware seems great so it's a real shame that the iCue software is utterly horrible. I am currently running it while typing this review with a basic Wave lighting effect running and iCue is using 25% of my CPU. If I run it while playing a game it hovers somewhere around 12-25% of CPU. Sometimes this goes as high as 45%. There is no possible way to stretch the meaning of "acceptable" to accommodate ... this. I just changed my lighting effect to a static color, and the CPU usage has increased to 33%. Killing the process makes your computer happy but the lighting effect that was previously loaded might suddenly stop working, giving you no lights at all on your board. Oh, and the special keys like the windows-key lock stop working. This effectively makes the expensive lighting effects unusable if you are playing a game. This is quite sad from a marquee brand company that caters to gaming enthusiasts. It's like buying an Alfa Romeo sports car and being told you can't use the stereo while the car is moving.

bad service from Manufacturer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this keyboard about six months ago. It all worked great. The keys are great to work with. Easy to see. Good and solid. Then about a month ago it started shorting out ever time I move the keyboard. I called Corsair to see if i could get it fixed and I got nothing. They did tell me that they don't fix there own keyboards. They took all the information but that was it. No address to send it to. So hear I set with a keyboard that I can use as a boat anchor. I talked to some salesmen at best buy and was told that this is the norm. It is a buy and thought away. but at 170 dollars you would think you would get something for your money. So to fix it I went back to Best Buy and I now have a 20 dollar keyboard that works great. I can buy 9 more 20 dollar keyboards that would work just well.No there is no light keys that light up but I think I can live with that.

Great keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only downfall, occasionally will have trouble "playing" the user made back-light settings where it will go to the default red keys. But unplugging one of its usb's and plugging back in usually fixes that.

it broke after a month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the feel of it and the lighting not until I was in the middle of my game and my Q starts to act like caps lock. Then I logged out, it starts to type randomly. Couldn’t fix it, so I returned it.
