A lighter than light gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First impression: My first impression of the Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight mouse is that it is extremely lightweight, but that also concerns me regarding quality of plastics and strength against hard play. What’s in the box: • Corsair Sabre V2 Pro Ultralight mouse. • USB wireless receiver. • USB charging cable. • Grip Tape. • Mouse skates. • Alcohol pad for skate removal. Pros: • 36 grams makes it feel like an extension of your hand • Robust build quality • Impressive sensor with 8K polling • Comfortable to use thanks to the included grip tape • Corsair's new web-based customization tool Cons: • No dedicated DPI switch • Battery life suffers when in 8K mode • No Bluetooth Technical Specifications: • Weight: 36 grams • Sensor: CORSAIR MARKSMAN S optical sensor • Max DPI: 33,000 DPI • Polling Rate: Up to 8,000 Hz • Tracking Speed: 750 IPS • Acceleration: 50 G • Connectivity: Wireless (2.4 GHz) and Wired (USB-C) • Switches: CORSAIR custom tactile mechanical switches • Battery Life: Up to 70 hours at 1kHz (16 hours at 8kHz) • Buttons: 5 • Design: Symmetrical • Feet: UPE (UHMWPE) • Extras: Grip tape, replacement feet, and alcohol wipe are included. The Mouse: Let’s start off with what this mouse is about, it is insanely lightweight. I knew it was going to be lightweight, but when I held it, I couldn’t believe it. I am currently using a heavy gaming mouse. It’s not as fast, but it is completely physically configurable, including length, width, height, weight and balance. So, when I first picked this mouse up, I could only feel it. The plastics on this mouse are thin, and that concerned me. But while using this mouse, it wasn’t a problem. I can push on the body and flex it, but normal use with this mouse doesn’t cause any flexing. And I claw the mouse when gaming, so that isn’t an issue at all. When I read that they included grip tape, I couldn’t understand how that is a good thing. After all, I used grip tape for 30 years on a skateboard. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it was rubber-based. I used the mouse without it and then I added the grip tape. What a difference it made. Clawing the mouse with the grip tape left no room for slipping and enabled me to have much more control over the mouse. They include a second set of skates, much taller than the ones that come on it. I’m really glad they included these because I do not like short skates. To me the short skates make the mouse feel like it is scraping on the table. But the tall sliders are nice, and the mouse just glides along with them. The Web Hub: For this mouse, Corsair has decided against an installable program and decided to use the CORSAIR Web Hub. I really like the Web Hub, and I like just hitting a website to do adjustments rather than having another hardware setup program on my computer. The Web Hub allows you to adjust the settings of the mouse without needing to install and maintain additional software. It’s simple, well laid out, and easy to use. Performance: The mouse is incredibly lightweight. That goes without saying, but for me, it was a bit too lightweight. It’s like I went from a brick to a pebble, and I found myself overshooting when tracking and aiming. I went into the Web Hub and adjusted some settings, and it helped a little. But after playing with such a heavy mouse for so long, it is going to take some time to get used to it. But I look forward to it, because the light weight gives me incredible control over the mouse. Conclusion: This is a very nice mouse. It is light, has a nice ergonomic shape, grip tape, is highly adjustable, and very fast. It has good battery life until you hit 8000 Hz, but that’s to be expected. The grip tape helps control the mouse, and the tall skates help the mouse glide across the pad. And the thin plastic isn’t the issue that I thought it would be. It will take some practice to get used to such a light mouse, but I can already tell it is going to be worth it. I look forward to this Corsair mouse to be my daily driver. If you want a lightweight gaming mouse that makes 60g mice feel heavy, then I highly recommend the Corsair Sabre v2 Pro mouse. You won’t be disappointed.

Alright I guess.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think if what you’re looking for is a lightweight mouse absolutely for you. Also, not sure how it connected but it did even without a usb dongle which I found kinda weird and very confusing. I did end up return it just because the mouse felt a little too lightweight for me. Turns out I like some weight in my mouse. Still on the search for the perfect mouse for small hands.

Light, No Ultralight Gaming Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Corsair has introduced recently a new wireless gaming mouse - Sabre V2 Pro Ultralight. So when you usually see marketing wording like Super and Ultra, many people stop paying attention to those terms, however in this case when Corsair says this mouse is ultralight - they really mean it. When you pick it up and start handling it - you will be in for a surprise as it is definitely the lightest mouse I have ever used. It is 36 grams. It almost feels like it is one of those dummy product placements you may see in stores. However, let the weight of this mouse do not deter you. This mouse was designed specifically for FPS players, the ultralight design delivers maximum agility and control for rapid flicks, sweeping 180s, and high-precision aim. This Sabre V2 Pro mouse is also equipped with CORSAIR’s MARKSMAN S sensor for true 33,000 DPI tracking, 750 IPS speed, and 50G acceleration. So in simple terms it helps you stay locked on target in fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios. I really like the customization options and the variety of certain features of this gaming mouse. If you are a serious gamer, fine tuning your settings is a must in my opinion and Corsair made sure you have that under your disposal. Corsair Web Hub is your main launching pad for customizing this amazing mouse. When you enter CORSAIR Web Hub, you will need to authorize access for it to connect to your device. And then simply select “SABRE v2 PRO Ultralight Wireless Dongle” and click connect. On the left hand side of the hub, there are three feature menus to choose from: • Key Assignments - this menu allows you to assign functions to buttons. So you can simply select from Mouse Functions, Keyboard Keys, Multimedia Key, Windows Shortcut, Macro, and more. And you can also modify your assignment parameters. • DPI - a more advanced way to customize the preset DPI stages of your SABRE v2 PRO. However, there is also a way to bypass the Hub and use the preset selector by simply long pressing the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON and the BACK BUTTON for 3 seconds to switch to next DPI stage. • Macro Manager - this page allows you to create and set macros. This gaming mouse has been a joy to use and its agility and precision really make the gaming experience for me even more enjoyable. I found it to deliver latency-defying responsiveness and pixel-perfect control. It's superb battery life (I had to recharge it after using it for a week and a total of 60 hours) and comfort in your hand will definitely make you game like a pro. Give it a try and you will thank me later.

Good for some not good for others
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s decent. Because it’s so light it has a harder time tracking quicker movements. It may be better for certain situations but for games with quick movements and used on a low dpi it’s not as ideal as I thought it would be. I did give it a chance for about 2 months but it still wasn’t ideal. I would return it but I missed the window for that.

Lightweight ≠ Good
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is OKAY at best. It focuses on being lightweight, so the build quality lacks a bit. It has great dpi capabilities, and feels really good in the hand, but for any gamers with a strong grip to their mouse, you may want to stay away...

Amazing gaming mouse!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been on the hunt for a great lightweight house ever since my ultra lightweight mouse I've had for years (made by a rival of Corsair) quit about a year or so ago. I loved that thing because of how light it was. But I really love Corsair's build quality & I have been rocking a Corsair keyboard (and mousepad) for many many years now. As well as running a Corsair AIO liquid cooler on my I9 13900K. So I truly love Corsair from the build quality, to the product support, to the software they have for their devices. I am happy to be back running a Corsair keyboard & mouse again! Unboxing & Initial Impressions When unboxing the Corsair Sabre V2 Pro I was blown away with how lightweight it is, as well as how sleek it feels without being slippery to me. Since I am a FPS gamer first, then racing & sports next, I absolutely need a lightweight mouse when playing FPS games so that I can aim quickly. This mouse was like rolling back the clock for me to a few years ago when I was first using the ultra lightweight mouse I had that unfortunately broke. The Sabre V2 Pro feels absolutely great in my hand, and I love it. I've actually moved to using it while working because of how my arm & hand are no longer experiencing fatigue. It has been a godsend. Rating: 5/5 Gaming Obviously a gaming mouse being utilized while gaming is where it will absolutely shine, and I must say the Sabre V2 Pro does just that for me! I fired up CS2 & was playing in no time. It reminded me of playing CS:S with how effortless I was able to aim on my rather large 4K gaming monitor. This isn't going to make you a pro gamer but this made me realize how much I had been missing an ultralight mouse. I have even let my sons & significant other play a few games with the mouse & they were all blown away. They each want one now for gaming & for school work, or just work. Rating: 5/5 Work As I have previously mentioned I have been using a different mouse while I was working but I decided I wanted to give it a try after I loved it so much with gaming. I didn't realize how much hand/wrist & arm fatigue I was experiencing from the heavier mouse I was using until I made the switch. And it was like night & day difference. Previously about lunch time (4-ish hours) I would start experiencing hand cramping on my right hand from utilizing the heavier mouse so much. I just thought it was my getting older & possibly a reoccurance of carpal tunnel. However, since moving t the Sabre V2 Pro I have not had that happen to me while using this mouse. Maybe it's just a coincidence or maybe they are tied together, I think they are tied together, at least for me. Rating: 5/5 Video & Audio Editing I also have an automotive YouTube channel. And so I am routinely editing audio and/or videos to upload to the various social media platforms including YouTube. I had to do some audio & video editing for a recent video that I did and I utilized this mouse for that as well. I was able to edit the audio & the video in one session (about 2 hours) with me working nonstop on it. I didn't have to stop for a break like I've had to do with my other mouse. Again, I'll need more testing to be 100% sure this is the likely cause of my relief but the fact that it weighs so little leads me to believe I am not experiencing the fatigue I was before with pushing the heavier mouse around my desk. Rating: 5/5 Conclusion In closing, I am absolutely thrilled with my new Corsair Sabre V2 Pro. I love how weight of it, I love how it feels in my hand, I love everything about it. I believe Corsair have hit a home run with this mouse & I'll be picking up some for my kids & for my significant other. I think ou should do the same too! Rating: 20/20

Great mouse, can hardly feel it's there.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Corsair Sabre v2 Pro ultralight wireless gaming mouse is impressive. A great addition to any FPS gaming enthusiast with its amazingly lightweight design and unprecedented 8,000 Hz hyper-polling that basically responds before you even move. Pair that with super precise 33k DPI optical sensor and impressive 70-hour battery life, I have a new favorite gaming mouse to tout around. I’m really enjoying it. Design and Build: Obviously one of the standout features of this Pure Air mouse is its ultra-lightweight design. I don’t know how these peripheral companies keep improving on their mouse weights without sacrificing performance or battery life, but they do it. This mouse weighs in at an incredibly low 36 grams, allowing for instant movement with zero to no effort. This allows for prolonged intense gaming sessions with zero fatigue no matter how long I play. Advances in battery and overall electronics technology allows this mouse to beat so many others in every category without reduced battery life but still light as a feather. The ergonomic design fits comfortably in any hand utilizing any grip type. It comes with grip tape for a tackier feel across the top which I really appreciate given the fact that this mouse is so lightweight, it gives a better feel of knowing something is in my hand. I also love the mechanical switches with some tactile feedback click after click. Performance: Equipped with its phenomenal 33K DPI optical sensor, this mouse produces top-notch precision, responsiveness, and smoothness. Like most other high-end gaming mice, the DPI setting is adjustable and can be easily customized to suit your specific needs and preferences for different gaming scenarios. Battery Life: Battery life is great and right up there with other comparable high end gaming mice. This mouse holds up to 70 hours of battery life while at the lower 1000 Hz polling rate but do realize that this impressive longevity is reduced a bit when the polling rate is increased to its max 8,000 Hz, bringing battery life down to about 16 hours. This means this mouse obviously has legs to run for a very long time either way but can be elongated by using a lower polling rate if you’re in a bind and need to conserve charge. It does charge quickly with the included USB charge cable and I have never run into a low battery situation and needed to stop what I was doing to catch a charge. I get by with moderate use by simply plugging it in overnight once a week or so. Connectivity: This mouse supports super-fast and responsive 2.4 GHz wireless v1.5 via the included USB dongle. Incredibly fast, low latency, ultra-responsive and works great. A big side note: I love the Corsair web hub customization features. This allows customization of the mouse macros, DPI, and button mapping without the need to install an actual local program on my computer, it’s all web-based! This Corsair Sabre v2 Pro ultralight wireless gaming mouse is a great addition to my ever-growing peripheral collection. It’s an incredibly lightweight, customizable, high-DPI, great battery life, high performance mouse.

Awesome gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair Sabre V2 is a great, lightweight gaming mouse. This is a wireless mouse that is only 36g, and features up to 33,000 dpi resolution and 8,000 hz polling rate. It comes with the mouse, usb-c cable, wireless dongle, grip tape, and alternate mouse skate pads. The alternate pads look like they have a bit more area to them than the ones that come installed. So it's nice to have the option to swap them out. The grip tape also looks interesting. It has a rubbery feel to it and comes in 4 pieces, which fit on the two click buttons, and one on each side of the mouse. Again, I didn't personally try these out, but it's nice to have the option. I just used the mouse the way it comes out of the box, and overall I was really impressed. The first thing I noticed off the bat was just how light weight this mouse is. I've used other lightweight gaming mice, and this is by far the lightest. Combine that with the slick pads, and this thing really just glides along like butter on the mouse pad. I tested the mouse in a few different scenarios. I tested in a few games as well as just all day use at work. I was really impressed with the all day comfort and usability of this mouse. It feels great in the hand and just works exactly as you need it to as an everyday mouse. When it comes to gaming, again, it works exactly as you need it. Because it's so light and slides along the mouse pad with ease, I was able to be extremely accurate with my aiming in FPS games. And the numerous DPI options really let you fine tune exactly how you want the mouse to behave. Noticeably absent from this mouse is any real RGB lighting. There is one light under the scroll wheel, but best I can tell, it's only used to show you what DPI setting you are on. The lack of RGB lighting to me personally isn't a big deal. I can take it or leave it. But definitely something to keep in mind if that's important to you. Overall, this is a really great mouse that is comfortable to use whether you are gaming or just using it for everyday use. The performance is really great, and it has really long battery life to boot. I would easily recommend this to anyone wanting a good gaming mouse.

Great mouse for everyday use!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair Sabre V2 Pro Ultralight Wireless is a fantastic mouse. There are a few cons regarding this mouse, but overall the pros outweigh the cons. First of all, the mouse is extremely light but still feels very solid. It took me a bit to get used to the lightness of this mouse but after a few sessions it feels perfectly comfortable. Secondly, the battery life is insane. You barely have to charge it and if you don’t want to use it wirelessly you can connect it to the included cable. Regarding its wireless capabilities it's pretty amazing. There is no noticeable delay and the mouse input is smooth and responsive. The mouse comes with grip pads that are very easy to apply and even some additional feet, which I haven’t been able to figure out how to apply. Personally I have big hands and the mouse is a bit small and I found it somewhat tricky to use. However, when I applied the grip pads to the sides and left and right click, it became a lot easier to use due to the additional grip. One gripe I have is that I need to use Corsair’s online web hub to adjust my DPI. If you’re constantly changing in your DPI or trying to dial it in, it can be tedious with this mouse. Overall, this is amazing for a wireless mouse. I highly recommend it!

Great mouse, FPS games Love it.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quick take: This thing is stupid light — 36 grams — but still feels solid. If you’re into fast-paced gaming or just want a mouse that doesn’t drag, it’s worth a look. What I like: • Weight: It’s featherlight without feeling cheap. You barely notice it’s there, which is the point. • Sensor & Speed: Up to 33K DPI and 8K polling rate. It’s responsive as heck, whether wired or wireless. • Battery: Lasts around 70 hours unless you’re running it in high-performance mode — then expect less. • Grip tape: Corsair includes it, and you’ll probably want it. Without it, the mouse can feel slippery during long sessions. Fit & Feel: • Ergonomics are solid for right-handed users with small to medium hands. It’s not bulky, and the button layout is clean. • Scroll wheel and clicks feel tight — no mush, no wobble. Minor gripes: • No dedicated DPI switch — gotta use software to tweak. • Battery drains faster if you’re pushing max polling rate, so plan around that. Final thoughts: If you care about speed and precision, this mouse delivers. It’s not flashy, but it’s built for performance. I’d recommend it for FPS players or anyone who wants a lightweight, no-frills setup that still hits hard.

Feather light!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve gone through my fair share of gaming mice, but the CORSAIR Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight really caught me off guard. At just 36 grams, it feels like nothing in your hand—my wrist barely notices it during quick flicks. I remember lining up a headshot in my last match and thinking, “Whoa, that came out of nowhere.” Here’s the deal: • Speed and responsiveness: The 8 kHz hyper-polling is legit. Every click and movement registers instantly. I’m often the first one firing in those shootout duels because the mouse never hesitates. • Pinpoint accuracy: The 33 000 DPI sensor tracks flawlessly, even when I’m whipping across the pad at top speed. No skips, no jitters—just smooth, surgical precision. • Click feel and durability: Those custom-tuned mechanical switches have a nice, snappy feedback. They don’t feel mushy at all, and I’ve been gaming hardcore for days without any double-click drama. • Battery life and versatility: I’ve pushed it close to two full days of play before needing a charge—CORSAIR isn’t exaggerating with that 70-hour claim. And if you do run low, just plug in the cable and keep going. • Custom tweaks: Extra grip tape and alternate skates let me dial in the perfect glide. Plus, the Web Hub software is surprisingly light—no bloat, just quick DPI and macro adjustments in my browser. The only catch? It’s not the comfiest shape out there. After a few hours, I start sliding my fingers around trying to find that sweet spot. If you need a mouse that cradles your palm, this might feel a bit too minimal. But if you live for speed and responsiveness, you might not even notice the slim profile. Bottom line: If you want a feather-light weapon that keeps every millisecond of input razor-sharp, the Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight delivers. Just be prepared to stretch your hand a bit if you plan on marathon sessions.
