The buttons allow for extra grip. They don’t activate unless you press them. You can do calculations or use the buttons for special keys. I’ve even used my buttons to type my computer passcode one-handed.

Great mouse, Massive upgrade for me over the current state of the Razer Naga, love the adjustable thumb pad. Would have been five stars all the way but the UI for Corsair is a little more difficult to figure out.

Bought this for an "angry gamer" friend who has a history of destroying gaming mice. This one has lasted 6 months and is still going strong, which is about 5 months longer than each of the last 3 mice he bought himself.

I had a razer naga for 5 years and I switched over to this mouse. It feels more comfortable with better quality and I would recommend it to anyone whether you play an MMO or not

Works great if you have the need for multiple buttons. You can set up macros for all the side buttons adding a ton of options. Lighting effects could be better especially if you want to pair this with a nice corsair keyboard and sync up your rgb effects

Would recommend this mouse to anyone who plays moba's or mmo's, fits right in the palm of my hand and its buttons on the side are adjustable to fit you hand better 10/10 mouse

Ok so it’s now been over a year. Heavy usage playing wow and other games. Still functioning as if new. Simply put a great product.

This has been the best mouse I’ve owned to date absolutely no complaints. After breaking mine from before I bought another because of how great it is (dropped out of my bag from two stories onto cement)

For a mouse to have keybinds alone is awesome for this price point. The program you use to configure the device allows you to easily save and swap between 'profiles' saving the hassle and time out of changing them around.

Best mouse I’ve owned. The customizable buttons help any game. These are for MMOs which I don’t play but I find it better to macro my FPS games to the buttons and keep my kd racking up!

I have been pleasantly surprised how this mouse has made our work and play so much more enjoyable. From the precise clicking to the quick movement and responsiveness, this mouse meets all my requirements.

this works well for mmos as there are 12 extra buttons on side of the mouse for keybinding. The buttons take some time to get used to orientationwise but once you do it makes playing mmos a lot easier

Bought for my son. He didn’t like at first until we discovered you can adjust the thumb slider for greater comfort. He quickly took it back and now loves it.

It's a great mouse but I game on a Mac... yes I know, I know.. so I can't use the mouse to its full potential. But I would recommend and the lights give it a nice extra flair. Hot keys are amazing!

The Mouse has amazing mount of configurable options. The iCue software could be a bit better with respect keeping profiles right. Make sure not to have iCue software start on boot.

A huge upgrade from my busted Razer Naga. Feels very similar to a Naga but the button grid can slide forward or back by about 15mm. Feels solid in my hand.

This is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. I used a Razor product before and had several issues with it. With this mouse I have had no problems and the performance is amazing.

replaced an order gaming mouse and man can't get over all the options. Did take a bit of time to get used to for all the buttons, but getting there.

The mouse holds up under repetitive use. The Geek Squad protection is great. The wheel started to lag after almost a year, and Geek Squad replaced it without any problems.

Corsair always makes great products, I was fearing that the number pad on the side of this thing wouldn't feel natural but it actually works quite well. Not disappointed at all with my purchase.
