Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Scimitar PRO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse's comfortable design and well-placed side buttons as significant advantages for gaming. Many appreciate the customizable DPI settings and responsive performance, enhancing accuracy and gameplay. However, some users find the software challenging to navigate and the mouse's size and weight not ideal for all hand sizes. The RGB lighting is a popular visual feature, though opinions on the software's user-friendliness are divided.

Up until the day it started double clicking it worked great. It lasted a little over a year. This is the second corsair mouse that has had this issue.

    Terrible, look elsewhere

Disappointing at best, Corsair lied about true DPS. I'm currently having issues with cross-compatibility with well known brand lighting software, this makes the Scimitar disconnect unexpectedly and there is nothing you can do except unplug/replug the mouse to reset. This was my last straw with Corsair, look elsewhere for quality products.

Great mouse! can be customized almost endlessly.

The iCue software is really solid, and when paired with a myriad of Corsair devices you'll love the easy access to all of your lighting and button profiles. There is a learning curve to using the software effectively, but not a steep one. DPI settings can be changed and rotated through easily. The macro pad is hands down my biggest pro for this mouse. Great for comfortable MOBA/MMO play, and incredibly accurate for First-Person Shooting with the added benefit of not removing fingers from movement keys. And if 16k DPI didn't seem accurate enough, you can calibrate the sensor to your mousepad or desk to improve the responsiveness and keep actions smooth and decisive.

I loved my old Razer Naga but after 7 years of use it was time to replace it. I only really decided to switch to a Corsair because it matched my keyboard, but I actually am pretty impressed with this mouse. The ergonomics are great, it fits very well in my hand. The way the macro keys are curved took me a bit to get used to but once I did I found them much more comfortable than my Naga. My thumb fits very comfortable in-between the keys and I can hit them all by sort of rolling it around on the pad. (Is "rolling around"the best way to describe what I'm talking about? I don't know.) The part of the mouse where your ring finger and pinky rest is also rubberized and textured, which is nice. Being able to switch between the DPI presets is really nice, although there are no dedicated buttons for the controls so the forwards and back buttons are sacrificed unless you have a Corsair keyboard like I do, in which case you can just bind it to a key on there. But for people that don't have a full Corsair setup, they really should have just included 2 more buttons for DPI and Profile switching.

    Physically Amazing, but very Buggy

This mouse is for power gamers and RPG fanatics, of which I am both. I was excited to replace my old Razor Naga Chroma with this beauty, and this one is absolutely gorgeous... when it works. Corsair's program for setting up custom profiles, RGB color settings and keybinds is called Corsair Utility Engine, and it works fairly well for all of my other peripherals, but this one... The Scimitar needlessly resets itself and clears itself of my custom keybinds, sensitivity settings, and RGB settings on a random whim during gameplay, and the only way to fix it is via unplugging the mouse itself and plugging it back in. It's incredibly disruptive, infuriating, and incidents can occur as close as three minutes apart. Very unreliable. Corsair Support has been incredibly unhelpful in solving the issue, and it seems people have been having this problem for some time with no solution. I recommend avoiding this mouse. As for me, I think I'll be returning it soon.

Not bad while it lasted. I feel like these break down in less than 1 year. I had to replace this 2 times but other than that its an excellent mouse for gaming
