I recently picked up the Corsair Scimitar mouse because it was on sale and I thought it would be a good upgrade from my Logitech G600 -- seeing as they're nearly identical mice with 12 inner-thumb buttons. The Corsair's RGB options are more fun and it has several more light sources on the mouse than Logitech's. However at the end of the day I'm planning to return the Corsair and keep using my Logitech. The Logitech G600 is half the price and honestly feels a little sturdier (I don't accidentally press the inner thumb buttons like I do on the Corsair when using it casually) and the lighting/key reprogramming software is way easier to use. I don't hate Corsair's iCue software (I have a Corsair keyboard) but it feels clunky, too technical and unintuitive. I don't think the Scimitar is a bad mouse but when the Logitech G600 is sitting right there for half the price and offers basically the same functionality, I'm sticking with it over this. Unless you're just dying to jump through iCUE's weird program hoops to program some extra lights on your mouse, I recommend spending less and getting the G600.

Extra buttons are a must have for mmo type games. Fast DPI adjustable button slider, has it all.

It’s was an amazing mouse and it felt comfortable in my hand. And I have big hands so finding a mouse that fits my hand is kinda hard but I sadly had to replace it since the scroll wheel was extremely sensitive

I love this mouse! I use it for League of Legends and it does everything I need it to. I personally probably don’t need this many side buttons but I still enjoy it. It can be very easy to accidentally click the button above or below but that’s a practice thing. I love the design of the wire as well as it’s very well made.

For anyone who plays mobas this mouse is amazing. I've used another 12-digit mouse in the past and had to break myself into getting my thumb to feel where is the best place to rest is, but because the scimitar uses a slide to allow you to move the whole 12-digit array closer to the front or farther back you're able to make it fit how you want to. Depending on the games you use this mouse may last you for around 5 years, or if you play games that focus heavily on clicking or holding-down the scroll-wheel it might last you 2-3 years. The mouse feels good with how far the ring finger rest is, has a good weight, and the slideable array is great. The software needed to program is though is pretty bad. The software is hard to get used to and needlessly complicated adding multiple extra steps to program the 12 keys and making it confusing to know if you've saved the profile to the mouse or just on your computer.

Probably my favorite gaming mouse on the market, I love having lots of side buttons and this delivers. Great gaming mouse!

I’ve been through a lot of gaming mice and this is by far the most comfortable feel. Smooth and responsive

One of the best MMO mice available. Purchased for wife who has smaller hands. Software isn't particularly intuitive but none of it is for any of the MMO mice and i've tried them all. I actually prefer the Logitec G-600 because its a bit larger and fits my hand better, HOWEVER, build quality and longevity of the Corsair is top notch. Once you get a handle on the software, key bindings ect. you'll never go back to a regular mouse again,

I have had two of these in 5 years. The only reason I just bought this one is because the finish finally started to wear off on the side buttons and the left click after 5 years of daily use. The old mouse still works, but the fact that it was worn bothered me so I got a new one. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that likes to play MMO's or any games that require tons of button presses. It is super easy to set up and get those 12 side buttons working.

I've tried all the multi button gaming mice....all of them. I had a logitech pro that I loved but I wanted a multi button mouse for both work and gaming. The Scimitar RGB Elite (dont get the non elite) is really nice. Its extremely comfortable, not too big of a mouse and the buttons are all solid. Best feature is you can slid the thumb pad forward and back to make it hit your thumb just right. I'm actually using 9 of the buttons every day now. A+

Best gaming mouse I’ve ever had, thats my second and the first one resist for 8 years.

So far it is a very good mouse for MMO gaming, I use it for both Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy 14 as well as other games like Monster Hunter World. It works pretty well with iCUE however it does very rarely (like perhaps once every 30-40 PC reboots) fail to connect to iCUE and needs to be unplugged and replugged. My main problems are with the build of the device. It is not at all dustproof as dust keeps finding its way into the internals and causing malfunctions, like causing the left mousebutton to double or triple click, causing the left mouse button to click again after releasing, making scrolling jittery and unreliable, and even preventing the middle mouse click from registering at all. I had to rebind my middle click to the DPI increase switch. Also, the scroll wheel already feels worn down despite only 9-10 months of owning it. I honestly have had $30 gaming mice last longer. All-in-all, if you get a good one, this mouse rocks. I however seem to have gotten a lemon that took way too long to get sour, which means no returns or exchanges for me.

Best mouse ever have used for 3 years now still is working fine never a issue and Icue is my favorite software

Gaming mice that I have used for years. Definitely recommend it! As a caveat--it is prone to some wear and tear with prolonged use. My last one had an issue where the scroll wheel wore out after about a year of using it.

Great mouse. This is replacing a worn out Razer with 12-button side panel. The adjustable location of the side panel is a clever idea, but the execution wasn't quite perfect. The 1 button is very low against the bottom of the mouse, so can be awkward to press when focused on an intense task/game. Other than that minor consideration, it's very nice. The lighting and customizing in iCue is also great. This mouse has 3 internal hardware profiles that eliminate the need to load iCue in order to make changes for different workflows/games.

Ergonomic and responsive. Enjoy the button configurations on the side while gaming.

Works great! For the price this is worth it in a pinch.

This is mouse #3 so far Mouse #1 the profile button stopped working and then the wheel scroll also stopped working. Mouse #2 the wheel also stopped working I tried disassembling the mouse and cleaning everything out and still nothing. Upon looking online for information, it is a pretty common thing with this mouse, for the wheel scroll to go out. it is very unfortunate. Putting the negative part aside if it wasn't for that this mouse would be a 5 star, it is amazing, very responsive and comfortable, and It is the only MMO mouse worth buying in the market.

It's very comfortable. I love being able to customize The side buttons and center. The two bu ttons below the scroll wheel are customizable as well. It comes with one of then to change profile and the other to change PDI. I just changed it so both are PD I up/down instead of rotate. My right click is becoming touchy now though.
