The buttons work as you would expect with just a quick reach of the thumb. 1-6 keys easier to reach but will have to retract thumb pretty awkwardly to reach keys 7-12 since they're closer to the palm - even after sliding and readjusting the keys. It's a useful mouse though, but like with anything will take time to be comfortable with all the keys.

Can set up profiles to switch all of these at once either through the software or setting up one of the buttons to do this. Well worth the price

Sometimes, when the computer goes to sleep, when turning it back on, the mouse doesn't come back have to unplug and re-plug the USB which means it has to use my front USB ports

The only reason I just bought this one is because the finish finally started to wear off on the side buttons and the left click after 5 years of daily use. The old mouse still works, but the fact that it was worn bothered me so I got a new one. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that likes to play MMO's or any games that require tons of button presses. It is super easy to set up and get those 12 side buttons working.
