This is honestly the best keyboard I've owned. I don't use it for gaming but coding and lots of typing. Fast quite keys and attractive design.

Got a good deal on this keyboard during Best Buy anniversary sale event. Regular price is $149.99, got it for $89.99. Pros: Cherry MX silent keys, RGB lighting, additional accessories, & Sale price Cons: C.U.E. Software needs work, Non-braided USB cable, Expensive if not on sale. Overall, if this is on sale definitely a great buy if you're upgrading from a membrane keyboard to a mechanical keyboard. This is the silent version so it won't have the satisfying "clicky" sound that others may prefer from blue mechanical switches.

I went through several different mechanical keyboards and all were either to loud or to soft. I felt like Goldilocks and the three keyboards. This one had the perfect tactile response, level of sound and overall look. I would recommend this over Razer.

The keys have a great texture to them, and they aren't terribly loud. The springs provide a nice bounce back when depressed. The color changing options are nice, and can be easily turned off if annoyed. The cable is nice and long, and the USB port on the back is handy. I really enjoy this keyboard both for gaming and work.

Everything I Wanted In A Keyboard

Feels great, the RGB is amazing (I seriously change my color scheme like every week) and it's not to loud that my wife hears it from the other room, looking at you cherry mx blues. It's my first mech keyboard so I don't have anything to compare it to but I have definitely recommended it to my boys.

    Really Nice Keyboard

This is a very nice keyboard. The buttons are not silent, but not nearly as loud as blue switches. They have a softer feel that is in some ways more pleasant to type on, depending on the sounds you want to hear while typing. They are loud enough to hear the twang of the mechanical parts at work in a quiet room. The Corsair Utility Engine interface is more busy and time consuming to use than is should be but it works. Even though it is a hefty keyboard, it is plastic on the outside.

I've been used to loud, clacky mechanical keyboards for the past couple of years so this took some getting used to (I'd occasionally mispress WASD keys and/or the spacebar) but so far so good now. It's been at least a few months since purchasing it and it's exceeded all my expectations!

    Excellent Keyboard

Excellent keyboard from Corsair. Though it is all plastic, it feels very premium. I like the Cherry MX Silent switches, they are noticeably "smushier" than their red or blue counterparts but are still very tactile and are in fact much quieter. If you are worried about keeping others up or if the clickity clack of the other switches is very distracting for you, this is the way to go. Included textured keycaps for fps/mobas is a huge plus and I find they don't interfere with my normal typing. Software has a slight learning curve but is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. White backing under the keycaps also makes the colors pop more and makes it more vibrant. No complaints on the RGB side of things. My only gripe is the length of the usb cable; though it works for my set up, this may be something to consider if your computer is going to be far away from your keyboard. Usb passthrough is also a nice touch to plug in another peripheral. Overall, a solid keyboard that does exactly what it claims to.

Great Keyboard minus the Silent MX keys

First of all I loved the keyboard, it has a solid build with great back lighting with an additional side lighting was also nice (would have liked to be able to change the color like the rest of the RGB lighting along with the logo in the top left). The keys were spaced well and didnt feel too small or overly spaced for my medium sized hands. My biggest issue with this keyboard that led to me giving a mediocre review and reaulted in ne returning the item was thr Silent MX switches simply put they felt clunky and like I was typing on a membrane keyboard but one that felt lie it stuck. When pressing on keys it felt like the switch was very resistant and had a lot of push back when pressing down on the key and resulted in me feeling like I needed to slam on the keys. Since I got this keyboard as a quieter solution to my K70 Cherry MX switches I felt a huge difference and really feel like I couldn't even call this a mechanical keyboard even though it is. Even though initially the keys were quieter than my previous keyboard I still felt like it was load due to me feeling like I needed to press harder on the keys causing it to be loud which defeated the purpose of why I bought it. I would say if you want this simply for the mechanical nature and are not worried about the noise of the keys then go with another corsair mechanical keyboard. If you want quiet keys this is a solution just be ready for some very clunky keys.

It came with a wrist rest, but it feels a little lacking. When I type, I tend to notice my wrists aren't actually touching it and when I try to rest them on the wrist rest, it feels a little awkward. It feels like my wrists are too low relative to the keys. I might end up getting a different wrist rest because I actually like the rest of the keyboard. I really enjoy the lighting effects. For now though, I don't use the wrist rest and it also saves some free space on my desk.

The person that handled my transactions pointed me to one of the best purchases I have made. Sleek, black, rgb, this keyboard has everything I need and a USB port on it. Love it! Buy the mice because they go along really well and corsair system makes it easy to customize both with ease.

The Strafe RGB keyboard with MX-Silent keys feels great under the fingers and the back lighting is consistent throughout. The on-board USB port is a convenient place to plug in your favorite gaming mouse and the Corsair software lets you customize the lighting affects to match your build. The only CON that I could find is that the cable isn't braided and it's kinda stiff which could be frustrating to get straightened out. At this price point, I feel that this could be improved.

This keyboard has modified version of cherry mx red keys. The mx silent keys are very quiet. Perfect for gaming around others. The keys don't have as much of a tactile click as regular cherry red keys, but it is still there and doesn't take long to get used to.

I have enjoyed the positive feel of the key tops and the ease of changing the color and patterns of the LED a bit power hungry but that seems to be the nature of the beast. I would recommend the use of a powered hub if you plan on using several power hungry LED Or USB devices
