Great keyboard for gaming, lights are cool, kids love it.

This keyboard fit the purpose that we had entended, both a gaming and processing keyboard. The Silent MX Keys are a joy to use, being both quiet and super responsive. Would recommend to others.

I didn't understand what other reviewers meant by "mushy" keys until I tried this keyboard. They were spot-on. I originally purchased the Strafe with Cherry MX Red switches, then opted for the RGB Strafe with Silent MX switches when it went on sale for $85. I ended up returning the RGB Strafe keyboard because I found the Silent MX switches to be less responsive, and overall it felt like a membrane keyboard. Key "clicks" aren't important to me, but the performance was noticeably different. I use the Strafe keyboard to play fps games, and I immediately noticed it was much more difficult to peek on the Silent MX switches. I'm sure I could have adapted, but I would prefer not to when the Cherry MX Red switches worked perfectly out of the box.

This keyboard has a great feel to it, like using the old IBM mechanical keyboards - I can type faster and more accurately with this keyboard than the other types that have less key travel.

Got this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. I made sure it was what he wanted by making him choose a top 3. He's very happy with it's performance and it looks spiffy too!

Keyboard is amazing, love the different color effects and if you download a specific program can even turn it into a visualizer for music. Best keyboard for the money

The "quiet-er" keys (not silent) are a bonus, and worth it. Typing is nearly without fatigue, and the keys "register": without full depression required. Backlighting is a joy at night and dimly lit situations. Broad setup options are good, not great. For example, the Windows key has to be depressed with every boot/reboot to turn it on, and can't be set to on as a default. This is a gamers' keyboard and secondarily a typers' keyboard. The Corsair Utility Engine is really clunky and there is basically no decent tutorial. Trial and error required. USB connection wire is huge, inflexible, and the pass through USB connection to the keyboard (for corded mouse mostly) it not necessary for most folks. The keyboard itself is a 5 star. The connecting cord and software limit this product severely. Spend a bit more and buy a cordless one. It is a joy to type on, and it is truly instantaneous for gaming.

Very responsive, great build, and the Corsair software interface is the best ever seen. Highly recommended - not to mention you can change the color of the LEDs - 16.3 million variations.

I got this keyboard for my son who enjoys PC games. He was able to hook it up himself (14 yo) and he even got it to change colors while playing music. Very cool, and sturdy gaming keyboard.

I personally wanted something better than average but didn't want to pay a ton of money. This was the product for me. I use to be a big PC gamer but haven't touched it in 4+ years so I'm rusty on the new tech. But I always wanted to purchase a keyboard that had lights in it - so yeah, I purchased this one. It has some type of "mechanical keys" that changes the feeling the way you press down the keyboard. And yes, I can notice the difference. It has pushes up quicker and has a nice "click" feel when you press a button. Makes it fun to type - :D If you have a little flexible budget but wanted the best value for the cost - and don't necessary have to purchase the most expensive thing, this is the keyboard for you. Feels good, isn't cheap design, sure not the best but - I get a ton of value and it looks sexy.

This keyboard is amazing! From the silent keys to the multi colored strobing lights it makes gaming much more fun. I also recommend changing out and using the covers for the letters ASDW.

Best keyboard I've ever used... I game a lot and it works great. Keys are much quieter than normal mechanical switches. I love all the user light profiles you can grab off Corsair Forum!

Bought this for my son to complete his gaming PC build and he loves it. Key action is great and super quiet, and the fully customizable LED keys are very cool.

Great feel and nice and quiet. You get the mechanical gaming keyboard experience without the headache from the loud clicking. Looks great too. I like it better than my razor.

We don't know anything about gaming keyboards, but on advice did buy this for our grandson who turned 16. He is absolutely ecstatic with it and says that it works flawlessly.

I love the tactile response of this keyboard. Programming it seems harder than it should be. But I found several profiles online that fit my needs. Pricy, but worth it.

My old keyboard died and I bought this as a replacement, works just as I thought it should. Works perfect and has all the right functions a gaming keyboard should have.

I've had many different keyboard and this keyboard is on a whole other level. The software is a tad slow but it doesn't hurt this keyboard. Perfect in almost every way.
