After researching, had 2 picks, The Strafe, and Razor. Strafe - Quality Construction and Fantastic Silent Keys, Eye Popping RGB Color Control, Low Price !!! Razor, just seemed cheaply made and overpriced. I Am So Happy with this Keyboard !!!! If your looking, BUY THIS !!!! also using The Corsair M65 RGB Mouse, Very Happy !!!

I had been using pretty basic keyboards for years and when my last one started getting buggy, I thought I would make a major upgrade. I bought this so-called "silent", Corsair keyboard on sale after reading several reviews and I must say I was disappointed. The first keyboard I bought wouldn't light up all the way, so I had to return it. The second one I got, and am currently using, has been pretty buggy. For one thing, the keyboard is VERY software reliant, no simple plug and play here, and the proprietary C.U.E. software interface is not very intuitive and actually rather difficult to update, install and use. Originally I had the keyboard plugged into a KVM switch, then I decided I would plug it directly into a USB 3 port on my PC (Just so you are sure, there are two USB plugs required on this board). to see if it helped. It didn't. Fairly often when I strike a key while playing my favorite game, the keyboard simply does not respond. It seems to type fine, but, for example; I will strike the "F" key repeatedly to activate one of my powers in the game and it will take 3-4 solid keystrikes to make it work. (I know when it hasn't because the game's Powers are on timers and indicate when they have been used by showing the timer counting down.) I thought maybe it was that key was faulty, but it has done the same thing with other keys. Also, for supposedly being a silent keyboard, I find it to be quite loud. I hate to say it, but I would be better off buying 3 standard keyboards, one after the other, as they wear out than paying a premium for this one. Buyer beware.

Now I can game with my son great item. Makes the newest games out there easy.
