Cool...but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially, everything was working just fine but now the backlighting is stuck on the default color. The application to control the colors stopped working, it was updated and worked 1 day. But the lighting issue isn't a deal breaker, good quality and great features for gaming.

Keep old KB for casual gamer.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my logitech 800 with the corsair. For a casual gamer, the old keyboard would suffice. I personally don't see the value in a gaming kb for a casual gamer. I just do fps with war thunder, and 2 other free games. For typing, it is pretty good and quiet. Lights are pretty

It’s Alright
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s ok, the mx silent switches are ehh at best. It is quieter but it’s nothing to write home about. If you want a Corsair Keyboard get the K70 Rapid Fire or the K95 Platinum. I have owned them both and still love the K95 with mx speed switches.

Poorly designed keyboard too many flaws.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I regret buying this keyboard. Bad design and poorly executed keyboard. You need the bloated software installed in order to have the RGB lights to work. I got tired of the crappy software now the keyboard just lights red. Keys got soft and not satisfying key presses. They are no better than a regular keyboard. Logo peeled of keyboard after a few months, and the palm rest broke. Overall keyboard has too many comprise. Not worth buying.

Best Keyboard EVER!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently built a powerful gaming PC, and the one part I skimped on was the keyboard & mouse (I used an old wireless keyboard & mouse from my old pc) If I had known what I was missing, I would've purchased this right away! Mechanical is the way to go. I narrowed it down to a few different boards, but this one took the cake. All the other boards I physically tried in the store were very loud. This one is very quiet for a mechanical board. It also looks very nice on the desk, very plain, but sleek and stylish. Just what I was looking for. The lighting effect are icing on the cake! Great job corsair! You nailed this one!

It's ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It isn't the best out there, nor the worst. My biggest gripe is that it doesn't look all that appealing, there are other Corsair models that look better. I would recommend spending a few more bucks and get the K70.

Would not purchase again and would not recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I buy gaming keyboards not because I'm a gamer but because I like mechanical keyboards. This product takes some getting used to, too much getting used to. Finger positioning is difficult. I have to work with the keyboard to the right of center just to have my hands in the proper location. It seems extremely sensative in that it produces unwanted spaces in words creating the need to back up and correct. I would never purchase this keyboard again or recommend that anyone else purchase it. I've never been a gamer. Maybe it's perfect for a gamer. I can't comment on that.

Decent but not real quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a quiter keyboard than most mechanical ones but the enter and space bar still click loudly. It's also still heavier than a regular keyboard. In the end I returned mine.

Overpriced vs competitors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the feel of this keyboard, but the price tag was too much for the quality of the build. There are other competitors out there who offer better products in the same price range. Keep in mind that you should always try out a keyboard in person prior to purchasing because all mechanical switches are not built the same. I did like the feeling of these switches, but the keyboard wasn't right for me.

I r8 8/8 m8
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down my favorite keyboard ever owned. The mechanical keys are very responsive yet very quiet (I'm not a huge fan of the 90's mainframe hacker clicky keyboard sounds). The software can be a big funky until you get used to it, but honestly if you just youtube some tutorials it took me like 2 minutes to get the hang of it. The color options are awesome, and the quality of the keyboard itself is outstanding. Great for the price, I use it for both gaming and doing schoolwork and there's no annoying macro keys to accidently bump and throw you off, Definitely a HUGE upgrade from my previous Logitech G series keyboard. Oh, and the palm rest is nice for extended amounts of playtime (especially when you spend hours on STEAM like I do) Overall this keyboard is the best for the price if you don't want something that's annoyingly loud. 8/8

Too sensitive for everyday use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. But perfect for gaming. Easy to miss-type if you're not perfect on your key strokes.
