Save your money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are far to many other good keyboards than this one. I couldn't get any of the computer and game controls to work . Every time I would set something up to program it would not work the second time after. I took mine back for a refund and kept the one I have

Great Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to check this keyboard out due to the Cherry MX Silent switches. I have to say they are quite nice. The spacebar feels extremely solid on this keyboard. I also own a G910 and a BW Ultimate Stealth. All three feel unique. The Romer-G's are just a tad quieter than the other keyboards. If you like seeing the glow come out from under the keys than the Corsair looks the best. The keys feel good and the color spectrum looks awesome. The CUE software allows you to create color profiles where you can have several custom colors/sequences paired up. I recommend checking out the youtube corsair videos that provide an overview on customizing. Very pleased to have this paired up with a new void wireless headset as well. Both are great products!

Good but room for improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good keyboard. 2 year warranty. The keys are quieter than most mechanical, but they definitely have the mechanical feel. You have complete control for the lighting and the software seems pretty good. The keyboard has 2 USB cables. One is for the keyboard, and the other is to support the USB port that is built into the keyboard. Here is the PROBLEM. Corsair designed these USB plugs (the plastic part) too large. You can not plug 2 of these into the standard motherboard USB ports as they are a bit to thick. Meaning if you try to use 2 USB ports next to each other, you have to really force them to fit and then you end up bending the USB ports on the motherboard. This is a GLARING design issue. It is not a defect with an individual keyboard.

Stiff and completely unusable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot recommend this keyboard. Sure it looks great, but the stiff nature of the switches makes typing a chore and leads to continuous typos,

Mechanical for the non-mechanical
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased my fair share of keyboards over the years and in that time I've purchased one or two mechanical. Normally the click/ clack of the keys would drive me crazy and would push me away. However, this keyboard does not. Fully programmable backlighting along with programming buttons adds flair to the computer keyboard.

I can't stop buying mechanical keyboards!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since my first one about a year ago, I haven't been able to stop. So far I have a Ducky Shine with Cherry MX Red's, a Filco with Red's, a DAS Ultimate with Browns, a Unicomp Ultra Classic, a E-Element RGB with Blue Otemu switches and now this Corsair with the MX Silents. I use the Unicomp at work. The clicky keys are the best but so loud. I didn't like the MX Reds too much cause they feel so light. These MX Silent switches seem a little heavier than the Red's and a little lighter than Browns. The software is so buggy. When my computer locks, the LEDs go back to their default mode. It doesn't look like the profiles are set up on the board itself. It will be default mode while your computer boots up also. I was able to download some custom profiles but couldn't figure out how to set them. I could preview them on the keyboard but as soon as the CUE software was closed, it would go back to default. There was a firmware update that installed with no issues but has not fixed any of my mentioned issues. I love this board but I don't know if I $130 love this board.

Beautiful mechanical keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never knew how much I needed RGB lights on my keyboard until I got the STRAFE RGB. Being able to change backlighting to whatever I like in mere seconds is a wonderful perk. As for the keyboard itself, it's surprisingly quiet. Feels wonderful to type on despite not having the feedback of Browns. A bit pricey but well worth the money.

High Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great keyboard! High quality Cherry MX Silent mechanical switches. Great feel, not too loud. Enjoying the highly customizable RGB backlighting! Switches are much more quiet than other popular keyboards of this caliber. Typing and gaming are a joy compared to membrane switches.

Best keyboard ever!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this headset, its amazing, the rbg colors look sick, the software is really neat, you can customize how you want your effect. The only con I have is the space bar having a rough texture, I wish it was smooth like the other keys...I don't need to distinguish where my space bar is. Other than that, It's a solid product.

The keyboard from heaven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Silent cherry mx switches AND rgb backlighting? Sign me up. This keyboard feels amazing, took me a little time to get used to because the keys were sensitive and I was coming from a run-of-the-mill keyboard, but I took to it like fish to water. CUE is needed to customize the rgb lighting and there's a great variety--even lets you import new patterns. Its heavier than I thought it'd be, so readjusting the position requires a bit more effort, but most of the time my hands are resting on the same area so it wasn't too much of a problem. USB passthrough behind lets you plug in any usb device; I plugged in my mouse just so there'd be less wire clutter. TL;DR: Buy it. Better than the razor chroma if thats what you were matching this up against.

Great keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros -Great for gaming -Quick response -Shorter travel than MX reds -Led and effects are smooth -Quieter than MX reds -USB Pass through -Wrist rest -Sturdy Cons -Software can be confusing I borrowed this keyboard from a friend and I was pleased with how it felt. I was more pleased with how it sounded, especial during longer typing sessions its nice it have a quieter but very tactile mechanical keys. I saw this on sale for 109.99 and that what made me commit to purchasing it. Note: The keyboard is fantastic but the software is not user friendly

Best Keyboard Out There
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! That is all I can say about this keyboard is WOW! Amazing look, feel, and build quality. You get all the snappy-ness that you find in a standard mechanical keyboard without the annoyance of super loud key clicks. The lighting is top-notch and very bright, plus easy to use through the Corsair Utility Engine. The USB passthrough is great for plugging in my Corsair M65 RGB mouse that syncs up with the keyboard through the software to match up with my keyboard. The included replacement keycaps are great as well! The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is that it is not aluminum but plastic, however this thing is built like a tank. Forget Razer and Logitech, I'm a Corsair guy now!

Works as advertised caution KVM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to open the box and plug this in, but to my disappointment my KVM switch didn't support it 100%. I recommend those who wish to use this on a KVM switch to do your homework. You may find that you need to purchase a new KVM switch to go along with it. That's the price to pay for bleeding edge technology. I am very pleased with the keyboard and the hunt for a compatible KVM switch has commenced, but in the meantime I am studying the software used to program the keyboard. It is very sophisticated. I use that word as opposed to complicated because of it rich flexibility. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a mechanical keyboard with RGB capability

Best Mechanical Keyboard I've tried..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had tried a Razer Mechanical Keyboard prior to this one (BlackWidow) and while it was nice, the "clickety" sound you get from it would annoy the s**t out of me.. I tried this MX Silent kb and I immediately fell in love with it.. It's super quiet, super comfortable to type on and very well made. It is one heavy keyboard, nothing cheap that you find from those plastic keyboards. It feels that it was entirely made out of metal (other than the keys..) Corsair recently updated their drivers for quicker detection of the RGB software to the kb (when comint off a Sleep or Hibernate mode) and they're just getting better at it. Amazing keyboard!

Best silent Mec Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the platinum for home gaming, but needed a replacement for an old G15 at work. Went with Strafe and love the feel/feedback. Silent for work so it does not drive me or others crazy. Lights are a cool feature for work, as most wait for IT to bring them a cheap replacement. 10 hrs a day in front of a PC so I want a good mouse & keyboard combo. Hope to get years us use out of this device..
