Ok Thermal Paste, But Can Buy Better Elsewhere

Do I need a paste/compound with a thermal conductivity >3.8 W/mK? I'm not sure, but if I can get better quality paste that helps transfer heat away from the CPU better then I want it. Removal from the package and applying it was easy. No complaints against the quality of the product other than the thermal conductivity is mediocre.
