  • Computer kept getting black screen, this fixed it!

    Computer seemingly kept getting black screen under any kind of load, realized it happened as soon as gpu fan started to ramp up. Turns out thermal paste was dust on the gpu cooler, cleaned and applied this, good as new!

    This thermal is not the best (most thermal pastes only have a difference of 1-2 degrees, so it doesn't really matter) but it gets the job done. I used it on a Ryzen 3600 and a NZXT x63 and get 34 degrees on idle.

    Surprisingly this paste is actually decent. Its not a fully liquid substance so its not going to run if you put a lot on and at the same time it does reduce stock TIM by a few degrees at least on my 2700x with its stock cooler and paste. It is not going to be a miracle worker. You'll probably want to undervolt your processor, but this does at least take a few (like 4c) degrees off your maximum stresstest/benchmark temperature.

    I dont know what else i can say, it is thermal paste and it gets the job done. There are cheaper options but you can never go wrong with this one
