This compound did not meet the expectations I had for them. It worked well, at first. But within 3 months I was getting odd temps. Purchased arctic mx-4 and haven’t had any issues since.

Poor Performance, Messy, and Overpriced

I bought this to compare against the new Arctic MX-6 which costs only $1 more than this crap. Using MX-6 resulted in over 500 points extra on Cinebench R23 compared to TM30. Massive difference in thermals.

Sorry to hear, you can get the thermal paste softened if you place the tube in a cup of warm water for a few minutes. If you were still get hot temps after, perhaps we can help with the application method you were using on the CPU?
