I was expanding my RAM memory anf when i plugged the new chips in the computer would not complete it's internal check and would not start up. I am thankful for the refund.

Didn't boot up with either module, when used individually or as a pair. Machine wouldn't recognize them. Not a problem with the laptop. Other modules work just fine.

Just for the record: This is something VERY important to know: Corsair has two lines of laptop memory, parts that start with CMSA are optimized for Mac laptops and (CMSO 16GX3M2A1333C9) is designed for non-Mac laptops. Generally the speeds and capacities are mirrored so that they have the same speeds and capacities for both platforms. -- Reference from Corsair Customer Support ---

The laptop recognized the RAM immediately in the BIOS and in Windows. Noticable performance boost, especially when launching and running HD video files. Could not be happier with my purchase.
