It would not post at all. I put the original ram sticks back that came with the Laptop from Dell and posted perfectly. I went with Cruical ram sticks for the Dell G16 7320 as it worked on 1 laptop already. Do not get this for the Dell G16 7320 as it will not post after updating bios. I give it 2 stars for the brand. Note: If you do have a G16 or any laptop that does not have XMP do not get anything higher than 4800mhz which my G16 7320 doesn't have. Not worth getting a 5600mhz ram speed. Stick to 4800mhz as it is cheapest option.

Specs are exactly the same as old RAM-4800 MHz DDR5 SODIMM. Was just upgrading from 16 to 32GB. Upon installation, computer would not boot. Reinstalled old memory and computer booted instantly. Compared new to old memory to each other physically and they matched. Apparently is not compatible with Dell pc. Disappointing and a waste of money.

That'd be correct, unfortunately, vendors make it really hard and sometimes require proprietary memory. We also never promise intercompatibility when using other modules/kits in the same system even if it's compatible with using 1 kit/1 module. PC would crash to a black screen and I'd have to hard reboot. Through process of elimination, RAM was the problem. Since I was outside the return window, I had to file a claim for a replacement. Through that process I learned Corsair does not cover return shipping even when they're at fault. I've been waiting almost a month now for a replacement, I'm out another $5 to ship it back to them, and I still don't have what I initially paid for. I will be avoiding Corsair in the future.

Dell G15 5525 No Good

However not for the Dell G15 5525 (AMD Ryzen 7 with NVIDIA 3050TI). I had bought two sticks five days ago, installed, everything was going well until today. Computer black screened, wouldn't come back on. Went through this song and dance three times, installed the OEM 2x8GB sticks of RAM and back online.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone up and down the specs of these memory sticks and they are supposed to be compatible with my PC, Dell G16 7620, but after a long time of troubleshooting it seems apparent that everybody that is trying to use this memory in their dell laptops is having the same issue, the issue being that the laptop turns on and you only get a black screen followed by a BIOS code flashing 2/5 meaning incompatible memory. So with all of that being said, do not buy these for Dell Laptops.
