Dell G15 5525 No Good

However not for the Dell G15 5525 (AMD Ryzen 7 with NVIDIA 3050TI). I had bought two sticks five days ago, installed, everything was going well until today. Computer black screened, wouldn't come back on. Went through this song and dance three times, installed the OEM 2x8GB sticks of RAM and back online.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone up and down the specs of these memory sticks and they are supposed to be compatible with my PC, Dell G16 7620, but after a long time of troubleshooting it seems apparent that everybody that is trying to use this memory in their dell laptops is having the same issue, the issue being that the laptop turns on and you only get a black screen followed by a BIOS code flashing 2/5 meaning incompatible memory. So with all of that being said, do not buy these for Dell Laptops.

As much as those guys do get it right at times, I'd recommend doing a bit of research next time or confirming with the manual as that'd have a QVL that lists kits tested to be compatible.

I'm surprised how much memory Windows 11 requires just idling. Once I got two of these installed, I'm more than happy with my unit's performance. Good amount of performance to price here. Corsair is a good brand and I'm very happy with my purchase.
