Had a problem using with a new laptop

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This RAM is probably good, but I had a problem using it in two new, but probably defective HP Envy 16 Intel Core i9 laptops. I returned both to Best Buy. They both failed after installing this RAM. (The RAM was verified and recommended by Best Buy Geek Sqaud.) I think the laptops were poorly built. The first could not be powered up even by Best Buy's Geek Squad after installing the RAM. I got the BSOD (blue screen of death) on the second laptop three times on startup after installing the RAM. It finally booted, but no thanks. I don't need a laptop with these kinds of problems. The laptops should not have had any problem with such simple and common upgrades.
