I had a mobo that had a bad 2nd RAM slot and while diagnosing, I bought this product to rule out the ballistic x2 8g RAM that I had inserted. The ballistic RAM was fine but I've always been a fan of some Corsair products so I sent back the ballistic for a refund and stuck with this for my build.

Fantastic RAM
