Best Buy sent me version 3.32. Same part number and listed specifications. Everything written on the actual RAM is sane except for version. Best Buy version doesn't work, not sure how long it must have spent in some warehouse somewhere.

That's not how version #s work, sorry to hear yours weren't compatible but do refer to your motherboard's manual's QVL in the future!
