One of the sticks was bad

It would cause my system to post but not boot and would corrupt my boot drive by trying to boot (SSD). Ended up returning them and paying the difference for the RGB sticks instead.

Were you using this kit along with the RGB Pro kit for which you also left a review for? Please keep in mind mixing/matching kits would also give you problems at times and that would explain the inability to reach listed frequencies.

The problem is not the memory if your computer is slow and the issues are not related to the memory. You can put in a 128gb kit (if compatible) and that won't fix your issues if the problem is a different component. You'd have to enable XMP/DOCP in your bios on a compatible board to reach the speeds.

The XMP worked great if yo uset your BIOS to oc the memory i had no problems with compatibility or any other issue.. I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A UPGRADE.
