It may run but consumer motherboards are dual channel, and these run in dual channel mode. Otherwise, it does what it supposed to do minus the extra channels. This means you will not get the full speed of these ram sticks. I did not realize they were quad channel until after reading specs on them. Next time I should read more carefully and get dual channel. Only high-end CPU for servers will utilize quad channel.

Rgb doesn't seem to sync up with my current rgb but that could just be my fault. (Don't care enough to look into it)
