Recently builtmy first PC, and I used two sets of these for it. After a couple of weeks I started to experience BSODs and games were crashing. I looked into the issue myself, and found the issue was likely RAM related. At least one or two sticks, failed Memtest86, which is a stress test for RAM composing of 13 test, which is run four consecutive times. First test with all 4 sticks produced over 500 errors by test 5, so I just stopped there. I removed 2 of the sticks, and then I had 6 errors running the next test. I replaced one of the sticks, and then had 0 errors on that test, which then passed again. It's recommended that Memtest86 be run for at least 8 passes. I little bit leery of this RAM now though, and if you're not computer savvy not many people might know how to assess this. From the computer technicians I've talked to they've said RAM is the second most common thing fail behind PSUs, but they still say it's not exactly common. However, all of them basically confirmed once RAM is bad there's no fixing it. I'm just going to continue with the one set now, and I will say they look great and Corsair's software is easy enough to follow. If you're new to PC building though I would recommend running Memtest86 before you start installing anything.

Bought this RAM with a STRIX B550-F and 5600X CPU in stock from BB. RAM vendor said this speed would be fine with this CPU. RAM worked great when PC would boot, RGB settings retained even with iCue software off, can change it anytime with iCue. However, mobo would not POST and showed DRAM error every other startup or unsuspend despite using latest BIOS (beta & non Beta), reseating DIMMS, rearrange DIMMS. Dont know if compatability or bad RAM, but most bad RAM I have will either never POST or crash while running. This did neither. Mobo manufacturer didnt have a memory/QVL list a the time of purchase. Now they do, and this isnt on there despite RAM mfgr's advice. Check your mobo QVL before RAM purchase!
