The LED is very customizable and you can turn it off if you are looking to darken the room. I added this to my other Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3.2GHz (non LED) and I honestly like having the gaps in light.

First dive into LED RAM

I like the feature where I can set the Ram color to reflect the temperature of my CPU for an instant visual monitor of how hot things are getting.

Love the RGB RAM

I wish my case was a Corsair, then I could have more control over my lighting. But... you can never go wrong with rainbow colors flowing through your machine.

Great RGB RAM

If you're using an MSI motherboard that supports full 3200 Mhz speeds like me (MSI Z490) and want to get the full 3200 Mhz speeds, you'll need to apply those settings in the BIOS screen.

I have read that some people have had to go into their bios to make their ram run at max speed but I did not have too.

I notice the stutters that I would get every now and again on 8 GB are now all gone. And the lights are added bonus!!

Solid and Ran at Rated Speed - Ryzen+Intel Builds

Last kit of 3000Mhz RAM on last build was capped to 2933Mhz which didn't make too big a difference to a noob like me using XMP
