I bought the computer last year from Beat Buy. They can NOT be used properly because the computer I have will not allow it.

After spending 1-2 weeks teying to diagnose my issue, Ive gotten BSODs daily, and Crashes multiple times a day. Memory Diagnostic Tools state Hardware Problems detected, on the Brand New kits. Cant return them after 3 weeks, instead of a 30 day return period. So now I need to reach out to Corsair to see if they can help, if not Im in the hole for over $270. Also, it wont let me add puctures via mobile.

If you go to ASUS this specific memory isn't listed as compatible in this version. The memory does work with the build unfortunately the clocking speeds will differ. Again Best Buy is just tossing older technology together in hopes that they can unload it. Buyer beware. their is nothing wrong with the memory modules. it's just how Best Buy bundles the products to get rid of them and duping customers.

That motherboard fully supports this memory kit's rated 3600 MHz speed. Did you enable D.O.C.P in BIOS? Doing so will allow your system to run the memory modules at 3600 MHz. If you have any questions, please reach out - we'd be happy to assist: help.corsair.com

Unfortunately the RGB is not controllable by 3rd party applications. I downloaded the Corsair app and it works, it's just stupid to have multiple apps for RGB. If I could go back, I'd get it without RGB. I don't know the longevity since it's only been a few weeks, but it solved the problems my old RAM was creating.

Was your setup a prebuilt system with existing memory modules? If so, we recommend removing the existing memory modules, as having nonidentical modules installed may induce system instability and/or bottle necking. Slow Ram

As such, I finally tried increasing the speed in the BIOS because I was still having some computer issues. That’s when I found an issue. Because according to my BIOS, anything set higher than DDR4-2133 mHz for my ram is unstable.
