First time changing something in my computer. A minor change but a good change from 16gb. Just make sure you click the ram in all the way. Didnt click it fully initially but after a couple tries, got it powered back on. Make sure to check compatibility on motherboard website. And there are always tutorials!

Let me preface this by saying I started buying Corsair Vengeance Pro memory DDR3 modules in 2012 and haven't looked back. They're a little more spendy than a lot of the other newer brand options on the market, and Corsair doesnt boast the greatest CAS latency numbers, but their modules are ROCK solid and do what they're advertised to do. I have a theory that most anyone experiencing issues with Corsair modules are likely experiencing compatibility issues. Most CVP models utilize a 1.65v power requirement and some boards may not support that requirement as the baseline for most memory is 1.45v. Be sure to check your Motherboard's hardware compatibility and storage QVL lists before purchasing any brand or model of memory modules. This kit has been flawless for me thus far and has been a great pairing for my i7-9700k and quite honestly, overkill, as the 9700k doesnt boast hyperthreading like previous and newer i7 chips(bad move by intel). The number of applications I can run on this kit is bottlenecked only by the core count of the CPU. The modules are noticeably faster during media rendering/gaming applications than the 3200 MHZ version I had utilized prior, and would be even more noticeable in a compatible Ryzen build. The oversized heat spreaders may be an issue for some with large air cooling solutions, but they do fit under a Noctua NH-D-15. Check cooler spacing specs and reference module height before purchasing. If running a custom liquid cooling solution, or AIO, it should be a non-issue. The bonus of the large heat spreaders, is that they keep the chips COOL (including when running them in all memory slots) according to OHM. I was concerned about how much heat may be generated by the LEDs being stacked right on top of the heat spreaders as some other SSD manufacturers that have tried adding RGB has caused major heat issues, but that isn't the case here. Kudos to Corsair. Like I mentioned before, I've been buying the CVP model modules for 10 years and I've never had a failure on a module over the course of 4 new builds. I'd recommend CVP modules to anyone looking for a great, reliable memory kit for their new build, or anyone just looking to add a larger memory pool to their current build. note: RGB isnt a big deal to me, but I will say the RGB on the heat spreaders does look great.

Ram is pretty straight forward. Put it into the pc, and it either works or doesn't. This ram works fine, and works at the advertised speed which is decent for an rgb set for the price. It's only quirk, is that at least without being configured in corsair icue, that the rgb stays on when the computer is asleep, which can be off putting to some.

Great value for very fast RAM. Surprisingly, this was the cheapest 32 GB kit offered at my local BestBuy. I'm not a big fan of RGB, so I set these to solid white. These are really bright, which can only be a pro. I had to turn them down cause they were blinding me (my pc is on my desk). They appear to play nicely with other brand memory. I had already had a 32GB kit of ADATA RAM and this Corsair set hasn't given any issues. There may be some sort of efficiency drawback from different timings, but it's been good so far after months of use.

Nice but pricey. Corsair Premium Price is Real

Pros: -iCUE compatible -RGB is nice and bright -3600MHz is as advertised Cons: -Pricey (even when it's on sale) -You're paying the Corsair Premium price here -DDR5 is already creeping its way into the market. If you intend to build a newer build with newer tech (ex: new CPUs, PSUs, DDR5 RAM and GPUs), you may want to save up for that. DDR4 will soon be considered 'old' with DDR5 around the corner Overall Thoughts: If you're thinking that upgrading from 3200MHz to 3600MHz is a huge jump and noticeable improvement when gaming, save your money. But if you're upgrading from 2666MHz or you have a Ryzen 5900x, then get this. For some reason, AMD chips act weird if you have 4 sticks of RAM. So I opted for just 2 sticks of RAM (16GB x 2). Even AMD's website says that the recommended RAM is 3600MHz for their 5900x and 5950x CPUs. This will all be a moot point with the new CPUs coming out and DDR5 already creeping its way into the market.

    Best Ram in 2022

I did some extensive research for the best ram out there in 2022 (Intel 12th Gen Specific). I wish I would have switched to Corsair earlier. The overclock on these things are crazy high, and compliment Intel's XMP perfectly. DDR4 is still king right now, and the price of this ram for the quality is insane. The RGB profile on this is very customizable, and it even comes with self monitoring for errors and whatnot. I will never get anything else other than Corsair.

I put this kit in a brand new Dell Alienware Aurora R11, and it works great. I got rid of the single 8GB stick and upgraded to this dual channel kit. The Dell case doesn't allow you to show off the RGB part, but I bought the memory on sale and wasn't concerned about the RGB feature. The RGB stuff will look good if you have a case with a glass panel on the side.
