I ended up taking it in to a shop that could test it all. I ended up getting a replacement from bestbuy though. They took care of it all after I explained my situation.

Please remember that our memory does have a lifetime warranty so as long as you keep the receipt it wouldn't matter if it dies in 5 or 10 years as we'd be able to replace it, you're covered! Opened bag to find the product had already been opened and looked to have been used. Took back to the store for return. They have to ship again (not in stock at store) now it will be another 9 days to ship! They could have at least comp'd me and shipped sooner. Not happy Bestbuy! I'll update with product review if I ever get it.

If you are getting in there to put this pair of sticks in, may as well replace the HDD with an SSD. I used the Samsung 860 EVO. The Corsair memory and the Samsung work flawlessly together. My machine is night and day, no issues, booted right up. Very Happy!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to add this to my 8GB 2017 5K iMac and it wouldn't work. it wouldn't even boot or post. took out Apple ram and used ONLY the Corsair and everything worked perfect. Not sure why, but it would not work along side the Apple ram. Guess I just have to order 16GB more of Corsair and see how that goes.

Asus screen would not even pop up. Finally the third time it booted into windows. Started downloading my games and it blue screened. I immediately pulled the memory and put back the original 8 meg chip. Taking these straight back tomorrow.
