However, I was not a fan of the pads and found them uncomfortable though this is an endless struggle for myself with a large head. I think for the price there are better options to consider like the Audeze Maxwell which to me has the best audio representation of any wireless gaming headset and should be a direct competitor to this headset.

The hyper X have metal parts and its a fraction of the cost. I have no idea about mic quality since I use a desktop mic

Great quality, no separate voice/game audio.

The downside, these do not have a separate channel for voice audio and game audio, that was a deal breaker for me on a headset at this price point. If this is not a deal breaker for you, they are awesome.

Feels expensive, and works the same. This is the best gaming headset I have in my inventory. No problems at all.
