The surround sound is phenomenal, the audio quality is great and I'm a big fan of the corsair software for tweaking the EQ settings. After over a year the leather on the headband is starting to wear and the ear cups were replaced because one snapped off... but still a great headset.

These headphones are great on the PC. BEWARE they suck on XBox One. I read the reviews prior to and still purchased to complete my Corsair setup. Unfortunately since you have to use the 3.5 jack to function on the XBox, you do not get the full quality of these headphones. I do not have a PS4 to test against but on the PC.... AWESOME. I use them for gaming and conferences for work. Sound quality is great. I would give 5 stars if the XBox quality was better.

Small Things Hold the Corsair Virtuoso back.

I bought this after I returned the Razr BlackShark (couldn't get the mic to work). The Corsair Virtuoso is well-made and has good sound (I think the Blackshark sounded a hair better), but I almost returned this one as well because the headband was killing my scalp. It's padded and all, but my head got incredibly sore after a couple of hours and I had to keep shifting it around. Over the past 2 weeks, the pain diminished and I can wear it for hours longer without a pressure point becoming unbearable -- still not the most comfortable headset I've worn, which is a bit disappointing for the money. It doesn't have any programmable buttons, so my push to talk is a bit problematic if I step away from the room. The other issue which is bumming me out is the battery. It's supposed to have 20-hours of battery life -- yeah, no. Not even close -- at least with this particular one. Started playing at 6 pm after charging it all day and by 12:30 a.m. the headset voice is telling me "Battery critical." I would jump into the Icue software to see if I could tweak the settings, but I can't access it. It shows in my Task Manager, but the app doesn't appear in my program list. Uninstalling and reinstalling had no effect.

Pros: -Great wireless battery life -Corsair software is one of the few good pieces of software out there -Fantastic sound range -Headset mic is probably the best one out there -Nice clean finish -3.5mm jack nice to have -USB-C charging which is amazing Cons: -EQ is essentially a must (AutoEQ wasn't great for me, had to customize on my own) -Wireless range could be better -Earcups are pretty small and overheat -Pretty expensive

I've used a few wireless headsets and this one by far is the best usb wireless i've used. The built in mic works great and the battery is still going strong with no issues. sound quality is 7.1 and corsair software lets you customize it however you like.

For $200, this headset comes short. I was expecting rich bass, top tier sound quality, and a great mic. However, it doesn't have any of that. Sound quality is just fair, bass is okay after you play around with the EQ, and the mic is very lackluster. My discord group said I sounded muffled. I went to this after my Logitech G935 expecting an upgrade, but it seems I made a slight downgrade. The fit isn't that great when you first put them on out of the box, but the second day is better. The earcuffs are on the small side and they are also shallow, so my ears feel compressed and irritated after a few hours. The drivers are faulty. Any time a sound gets a little on the loud side, there is a crackling sound. After reinstalling drivers, trying every USB slot possible, and switching to wired mode, nothing fixed it. After going on their forums, every one has been having this issue for months. Being able to switch from Wireless to Wired mode is a great idea, but it is executed poorly. You have to flip the switch on the headset, unplug the wireless dongle, and wait for the headset to restart. After doing this while using a voice chat program, you have to restart said program and re-select the headset as default device. EVERY. TIME. There isn't even a noticeable quality change. Beautiful and sleek design. Luxurious packaging. Mediocre hardware. I'm definitely returning this headset.

Been using this for gaming and work. The construction is solid and doesn’t feel fragile. The sound from the headset is great via wire or wireless. Battery life is good. Only issue is the head strap can sit on the head hard and really mess up your hair.

Great sound quality. The cups are a touch small for me but the still fit and the headset sits comfortably. Sound canceling effect is good, wife scares me frequently now. Have been told the microphone sounds amazing for wireless and usb better than my old pc360 from sennheiser. Overall very nice headset. It is a bit heavier than the higher plastic used models but that leads to an overall better quality feel to it.

These Corsair headset comes out of the box looking absolutely amazing. Among gaming headsets I’ve used, they are among the best in terms of sound but the issue for me was that they are a bit heavy and tight on the top of the head which makes the problem worse. Not the best fit for me but I do have a big head. For those that it fits well for, I’m sure it would be a great headset!

The preset sound settings in the headset are flat and seriously lacks lows. The headset does support windows sonic which thankfully corrects most of the sound quality. The headset also works with Dolby atmos and dts:x. One complaint i have with this headset is connecting to a channel in discord. For some reason it has a lag from when you connect and when you hear the connect sound. The mic is super clear and much better than my old headset.

I think these sound pretty good for someone who doesn't really care about sound quality and mic quality. Be sure to check out the mic tests on Youtube. The earcups are not the most comfortable thing, but I don't really wear them for a long time so it's okay for me. I had a brief moment of disconnecting issues, but I figured out it was due to mostly poor shielding from another USB hub I connected.

These things are comfortable, stylish, mic and the sound quality is superior to any gaming headset I have tried (quite a few). The only negative is the lack of a Bluetooth option, but since I knew that going in, I can't very well reduce the score for it.

For the price of these headphone I was expecting much more. They are pretty heavy and not very comfortable for many hours of use. They are bluetooth but you need to use a USB drive for it to work and it sticks out a lot. They work great, but I had problems with mine because they don’t seem to have great connection all the time. It’s a great pari of gaming headphones, but I prefer someone light and easy to connect.
