Many appreciate the long battery life and wireless convenience, although some find the headset heavy and the bass response could be improved. A few also noted that the price point might be considered high by some buyers.

Build Quality Issues, Lack of Bass, but Good Mic

The Problem: Got the headset yesterday and sat down for a gaming session. The hinge in the right ear cup was very squeaky, but overall not a huge deal. However, after 3 hours, the right driver completely shorted out and is no longer functional. Will be returning the headset. Review of headphones while it was functioning: Headphones sound decent, but are very light on bass. For reference, I was upgrading from Corsair HS70s. Mic isn't perfect, but is more than good enough for comms in any game, a huge upgrade from the HS70 mic. However, it still falls short of "broadcast" quality. If you're doing professional work, or want to be serious about your stream, definitely look to get a separate mic. @Corsair - TERRIBLE placement of the charging port. The cable digs directly into your left shoulder if you're using the headphones wired.

      Hi zero,

Apologize for the issue you had regarding the driver in the right earcup. Hopefully when you get an exchange you can give this a try: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDbo7mhuu1I

As far as the placement of the charging port, all feedback matters and I can definitely report this to the team that handles those recommendations.

I was reccomend these by an employee at my local best buy. The sound quality isn't what you would expect for the price you pay. Unfortunately the bass is pretty flat, although the midrange comes through clear. I was disappointed The way these headphones sit on your head is not comfortable. Most of the weight feels like it sits directly on a single point on top of your head. It is not something you can really get used to. The headphones have very nice RGB and a decent quality detachable microphone. You can also use headphones with most formata with little set up.

I bought this headset for both game and work, while the unit feels well built and sturdy, its also very heavy. After sitting on your head for a long period of time it starts to get uncomfortable. The biggest issue is the quality of the sound you get while gaming, it constantly crackles and when playing online it will cause feedback making my teammates to ask me to mute my mic. for a 200$ mic there should be flawless play back and 0 sound quality issues. I plugged in a 20$ wireless headset that was able to do a better job, which was heart breaking, as I wanted to love this headset, aesthetically its pleasing and well built, but that is where the quality ends.

Solid build, good quality, sleek design. Overall this is a great set of cans. Only complaints are that the battery life and the range are not quite as good as the SteelSeries Arctis 7 and that the position of the USB jack is in an award position if you are wearing them while charging. And I wish there were an option for breathable fabric ear covers as these will get hot and sweaty if you wear them for an extended period of time. But aside from that they are very comfortable and sound great. One of the top models I have tried.

Overall happy with my purchase, I had Corsair HS70 Pro headphones before and I like my games when played loud and have some bass. The virtuoso delivers on all fronts, great build quality and easy navigation through ICue, I’m no speaker head I game when I can and wanted a nice pair of gaming head set. The microphone had no issues and does a good job and reducing the background noise. I usually play for about 1-2 hours at a time and had no issues with it being uncomfortable on my ears.

I love Corsair products, I always know they will be up to the standards they promise. This headset is very durable, sound is great, and overall a decent headset. My only bad review on the headset would be the lenth of the side bands that go to 10 clicks and barley fit over my ears maxed out. I have other headsets that go to 10 clicks and I only have to adjust them to 6-7 clicks and fit amazing. I'm just not sure why that is, I have other Corsair headsets and I have no problem with band length.

    Best Headset Ive Owned

These have got to be the best set of gaming headphones ive ever bought. The build quality is amazing. They seem to be built using steel which a lot of headsets these days are made of plastic. They are super comfortable and if you wear glasses, the padding on the ear cuffs dont push the ends or sides of your glasses in like some do. Sound quality is awesome, even before doing tweeks with the iCue software. Speaking of the iCue software, it is free and not hidden behind a pay wall like other manufacturers have been doing. You can basically set them up with how you want them to be and even change the RGB color and style. Though the only thing that lights up is the logo on the side of the ear cuffs. The only downfall of these headphones is the price. They do have a hefty price tag. That would be the only thing bad I'd say about these. Also its nice that they come with a little carrying case.

This headset works great! Good quality, battery, ear comfort, and mic works great. The only negative thought I have was one I read before purchasing. The cushion that sits on your head can get pretty uncomfortable.

Sound quality and especially mic quality is the best youre going to get in this price range for WIRELESS specifically. However these are not the most comfortable. i am a woman with a small head and small ears that do not protrude but my left ear rubs on the inside of the ear cup making it hard to use for a full 8 hours. the earcups in circumference seem quite small in general and definitely shallow. if your ears protrude even a tad these will rub and get uncomfortable. i wish the top band had a bit more built in expandability because i find these fairly tight on a small head. but i am keeping them due to the quality of the mic and sound. battery life also not the best. hardware is VERY good though and solid. connections are secure and mic is sturdy.

I upgraded from my void pro headset which I had 2 problems with 1. They kept slipping off my head during use and 2. The battery didn’t last as advertised. Both of these problems were solved with the Virtuoso .The built in 7.1 surround sound is amazing and it fit fits nice and tightly on my big head. Charging in time is quick as well.my only grip is the detachable mic quality could be better but I’m just nit-picking.These are the best headset I’ve owned.

Probably the best wireless headset you can purchase. Great mic quality, great sound and 0 delay whatsoever. I’d definitely recommend this over the regular version of this headset since the bigger earcups make this a much more comfortable fit. I will say that the grip force could be slightly better, as it has more than often slid off my head while using it. All in all, it’s worth the $30 more than the original. Highly recommend.

Solid build, great mic, pretty comfy, and good sound quality. My only issue is that my ears get a little toasty after a couple hours of gaming. Besides that, easily one of three best gaming headsets in this price range.

The virtuoso both se and non sr is by far the best headset I have ever used. The se version feels fantastic and everything from the sound to the microphone quality is great (which is detachable). The only two things I have not the best feelings is the shape of the ear cups can be a but uncomfortable if you have larger ears and the price of the se version. But overall, a great headset and a great pair of headphones

i upgraded from the original chroma kraken's, this is a big upgrade over those headphones. Better sound quality, better microphone, better build quality. The only thing I would change is the software support through ICUE. You only can change the mic volume and headset volume, i wish you could change the mic sensitivity or adjust the amount noise detection going into the mic. Still these are awesome headphones and i would highly recommend.

Bought these to replace my Astro headset that kept acting up and the difference is night and day. The sound quality is really decent. The overall build quality is also awesome. They are comfortable enough to keep on for more than an hour. Being wireless I can get up without having to make the effort of taking them off. And the range on them is surprising. I can walk all the way to my kitchen with them and still have audio coming through.

Hardware quality is good. Sound quality is good. Looks and feels very slick and professional. The iCUE software is a complete tire fire. It delays system notification sounds and certain sound effects, sometimes for 10-15seconds. I have no idea how it manages this, but it's impressively terrible. Join a Discord channel? You'll hear the sound effect of you joining in about 10-15seconds. Using call center software for work? Congratulations, you just missed SLA on answering a call because you didn't hear the call until the call had expired. Great headset held back by some of the worst software ever.

Very light and comfortable with very good audio. It is nice to see the mic either red when muted or green when it is live. That can save you when you are task saturated....High quality construction and removable mic along with short recharge time make this a great value.
