Customers are saying

Customers love the superb sound quality and comfortable fit of the VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless Gaming Headset. Many appreciate the long battery life and wireless convenience, although some find the headset heavy and the bass response could be improved. A few also noted that the price point might be considered high by some buyers.

Owned for almost 2 years now and battery is still good, sound quality is great! Had to tune them though corsair ICU but that is expected for personal tastes. The bushed metal gets dirty fairly easily is probably my only complaint.

    Amazing "gamer" headphones

I am a headphone enthusiast - and these are my go to headphones for gaming. Incredible sound - almost level soundstage. Bass aren't super punchy like in most other "gamer" headsets. Microphone is very good. It's why you should get the SE version over the other Vitrtuoso model. I have a boom mic, but don't use it anymore. More than good enough for gaming and some casual streaming.

One of the best pairs of headphones I've ever owned these past few years. Amazing sound quality even without tinkering, and the iCUE app makes it easy to adjust volume levels. Extremely comfortable, high quality, and the mic sound is almost 1-to-1, good for both gaming and working from home. The detachable mic on the headset is a great feature as well.

Has a good construction but gets loose over a week of usage. Lack of bass but can be fixed using the icue software. Somewhat tight around the head when you first use it. It can get dirty quite easily but cleaned. The mic and its features are incredible and the audio is good dispite lack of bass. The rgb is bright which for me is good.

Great headset! Mic quality mostly good. Little weak on lower frequencies, but that's normal. Highly recommend custom EQ and disabling surround sound in games as out of the box audio in Apex Legends was extremely lacking. Could be an issue with the game, but I haven't tried any other games with surround. Super convenient. Using for work and gaming.

Pros -looks amazing -crisp and very clear sound -mic sounds great -battery lasts a while when fully charged and rgb turned off Cons -uncomfortable, especially for my ears after long periods of use -lacking bass -makes my entire head somehow get sore My only dislike on the headset the bass is non existent. When turning up the bass in the eq settings or even by raising the volume, the headset just becomes a huge mess in terms of sound quality. Everything becomes distorted and quiet when there's a lot of bass in music. Recommendation I would only recommend this headset for people that are only going to use it for gaming. Everything besides gaming this makes no sense to purchase as these can get uncomfortable quick. (just from writing this review my ears have already started to hurt)

      Hi SomeRandomGamer,

Thank you so much for the feedback, you may be able to further adjust EQ for it to help with meeting the sound you'd like. Sometimes adjust just the low bass won't be the only way as that can cause more bloated sound. If you'd like assistance, please feel free to contact our support team: support.corsair.com

This is A GREAT HEADSET! The Neodymium driver deliver crisp clear sound, great for FPS gaming, especially with the "FPS competition" EQ in the corsair iCue software. The only complain I have is that the bass in these is pretty non existent even in with the "Bass Boost" EQ. Other than that, these are great! The wireless has amazing range, and the battery lasts a long time compared to other headsets I've used in the past.

I had bought the A50s and just did not enjoy them. These though sound great, have RGB if you’re into that, and you can play while they charge which not many wireless headsets allow. The one draw back is sometimes it takes a min of messing around to get them to connect to a ps4 but if you mainly play PC like I do they’re perfect every time. They’re also very durable

The Corsair Virtuoso Headset is one of the best wireless headsets you can get for the price. The sound is great, the mic could do better, but what may be best is how far the headset reaches (Up to 60 ft). The only problem I had was the price, and at that point it almost seems your paying more for a luxury then the product. The product was very neatly packaged and did in fact seem like a luxury product. Getting the iCUE app will be a life saver in mixing the volume, checking the battery, or even changing the color. If you have the money to spend I would highly recommend getting this headset, especially if it's running a sale.

For the price tag on these I give it one star. If these were 60 bucks it might be ok. Terrible tinny sounding audio. Messed with the audio settings for an hour and they just sounded awful with any setting I threw at it. Heavy Small Bad audio Almost 0 bass Very quiet even at max level I will add a star for microphone quality. Only decent part of this aluminum trash heap. Returning these promptly.

Superior sound, quality. Coming from an audiophile. The headset destroys all my gaming headsets. I use this in conjunction with the mixamp pro. LOUD super LOUD, everything about this headset is perfect. You will be happy with this headset. I use it for PC, VR, PS5 gaming. I haven't tested it on the Switch or XBSX yet. The actual feel of this headset screams quality, from the ear pads to the design to the material used. It is a combination of aluminum and hard plastics. The PU leather ear pads are ver comfortable. The headband is nice as well. The price is a tad high, but this is def one of those situations of you get what you pay for. The RGB and customizable audio setting are a major plus. They look and feel future proof. I have yet to test the mic.

Good headset, very nice build quality. sound quality is great if you tweak the EQ in iCue properly. Flat EQ with 7.1 is really upsetting. For the price this should have came as quality over style. turned off 7.1 surround, as stereo sound was more accurate. RGB will eat your battery, i could get get 10 hours of runtime at best with RGB on. (It’s advertised for 20 hours) The microphone quality is actually impressive. People think I sound way clearer and less nasally. Alternatively, you can hardwire in with USB-C to USB A and the mic and sound quality are slightly improved.

First of all, the build quality is very robust. These are great for any teen who may be a little rough with their stuff. Soundwise, they are nice, a little warm, with good oomph in the lower end. They are not kings of pure audio quality, but they are an enjoyable listen when you're in the mood for this type of signature. One buggy thing is the software will works well to adjust the light colors, however, the EQ does not universally apply to all sources. Mic seems to work well with no complaints on the other end. As long as you know what you're getting, this is a great gaming headset.

Best money I have spent on something for my son. I asked my best but sales man for a set that he would not be able to complain about. My son raves about the sound quality, clarity and loves the RGB. Highly recommend. Yes a little more spendy but worth it in the end. Every day he raves about them. Love that they are wired or wireless.

It's good but not great. Comfort is good, but the headphone cups could be a bit bigger. Headphone isn't heavy and it looks great, love the white color scheme, the build quality, and the RGB. My friends told me that I sounded great on the mic. Sound quality could be better, it's missing the oomf from the bass, even after I tweaked the EQ. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied them, it's a pretty solid pick up.

Recently put together a new build, since we went with a corsair case and fans, figured we'd go with corsair peripherals that way I only needed one program to control everything. I'm not completely disappointed but this set could definitely be better, specially since the Arctis 9x is only a little bit more and is a better overall headset in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, this headset sounds pretty darn good, bass can feel flat at times but after some tuning I got these to sound the way I wanted them to. Windows spatial sound is nice, if that's not your thing these are surround sound capable as well. The presets are cool to have and the equalizer that comes with the iCue software is a nice bonus but like the title says, the ear pads on these are horrible. I believe the pads are foam but either way, they compress way too much and leave the frame that's protecting the drivers resting on the cartilage of my ears, which make them very uncomfortable for gaming sessions longer than 4-ish hours. If Corsair makes aftermarket ear pads, I couldn't find them. I did however find a pdf for 3d printed adapters that let you attach other after market ear pads and I may look in to that in the future if I don't return these. I would not recommend these until Corsair either puts better ear pads on these or offers replacements that are more comfortable.
