Many appreciate the long battery life and wireless convenience, although some find the headset heavy and the bass response could be improved. A few also noted that the price point might be considered high by some buyers.

Amazing Build, Sound, and Microphone Quality

I broke my last two headsets due to cheap build quality, so I decided this time around I'd look for something of higher quality. After finding this pair, I was a bit hesitant as it was priced much higher than my last two sets, but after looking at video reviews of this headset, I bit the bullet. Now owning it, I am very glad I decided to purchase this headset. The build quality is exactly what I was looking for, and the quality of the sound and microphone is phenomenal for the price. I especially like how I can use two devices with this headset at once without interruption. One device can be connected with the 3.5mm jack, and another can be connected through either USB mode, which also charges the headset, or wireless mode. You can also charge the headset while in wireless mode, but at that point you might as well switch it to USB mode for better sound and mic quality. The sound quality is amazing, and you can fine-tune the equalizer settings through Corsair's iCUE software. This software can also be used to change the color, mode, and intensity of the RGB logo, change sidetone levels, and more. The microphone quality is also amazing, and you really can't find anything near it's level at the price, especially taking into account how the headset can be used wirelessly. The only thing I wish this headset had was support for bluetooth connection; however, it was not a deal-breaker for me - the USB wireless adapter is more than good enough. For me, this headset is quite comfortable. The ear cups are a bit shallow, but my ears still don't touch the drivers inside. I have heard that for people with larger heads, the headset can be a bit uncomfortable after prolonged uses, but I personally don't have this issue. The first day I wore this headset, it was a little uncomfortable, but after that they were just fine. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. The build, sound, and mic quality are outstanding and well worth the $180.

This is well-crafted esthetics with awesome sound. It's well worth the price. The biggest complaint sounds to be the fact that the ear cups may be too small for large ears. I don't have this issue and hate to be the guy with ears bigger than these headphones. It feels very confee and I don't even notice it on my ear. The battery life is really good. I've owned multiple Bluetooth headsets and none compete to clarity of this one.

I don't like that there is no off function. Even if you turn it off it turns itself back on. The headset is very comfortable and the sound quality for gaming is crystal clear. If you want a headset for music and bass, this is not the one for you.

I love the solid feeling of this headset, it's sturdy, not made of cheap plastic. The battery life could be better but I still get about a solid 6-8 hours from a charge. Good sound quality, no sound lag from using it wirelessly.

Very high quality, from the device to the packaging to the wires. Sound is very good and controlled through iCue. The headset has a wifi/USB switch. Apparently it’s supposed to be higher quality through USB but I can’t discern a difference.. Honestly I wish they simplified the packaging, I feel $20 of this alone is in unnecessary packing, a sleeve, and overly fancy wires

Honestly, the price originally made me skeptical. After using them everyday for the last week I like them a lot. They are all metal and feel sturdy. The wireless works great, switches to wired easily. iCUE program easy to use!

Good product, lasts me a long time even with daily use. Long term use can cause wear on the ear cushioning and in one case caused it to come detached completely and was promptly replaced for me. However, my current pair has been holding up well during the time I have had it and despite the issue with the last pair, with daily use and care it has held up rather well and it has remained my top headphone I have tried.

Build quality for this is excellent. The included accessories are very nice. Sound quality for gaming is great especially if surround sound is enabled. For music it's good as long as it is in stereo. The battery life isn't amazing, but it shouldn't be a problem as long as it is charging when not in use. The software for this is pretty lackluster though. It's pretty bare bones.

I'd say it's a pretty good headphone, however for sure on PC you will need to pair this with a CorsAir K1 keyboard, and use customized (Profile Switching) to get the best sound between. Standard Gaming Movies Bass Music Though as usual for any Wireless headphones, even non wireless i'd recommend getting the warranty on any Headphone, Keyboard, or Mouse simply because if you use them a lot. - Within 2 years the headphone will wear out and break - The battery will stop holding charge as long after over 1 cycle every 24 hours of charging or 365 times a year (That isn't replaceable.) - Keyboards with cherry switches will double type randomly after awhile some right out of the box but it gets worse over time.

Audio Quality - Not bad but very dependent on your PC specs or whatever is driving the audio. Build quality - Very nice finish with durable parts. The BAD - I am not sure why Corsair and others always ignore the supporting software and features. First, the only controllable RGB on this headset is the logo on the ear cup. You are stuck with the MIC light always on and green or red. You are stuck with the USB being either white, red or off. The worst part of this headset is the way it charges. When you connect it to USB, it comes on, therefore there is NO way to charge this headset with out it looking like a Christmas tree. God forbid you plug the USB in to your PC to charge it, it then comes on and redirects all the audio to itself. If you plug the USB in the wall and avoid the PC, it still turns on and glows like crazy when charging. SO ANNOYING!! Audio should be input by wireless and 3.5mm, NOT USB. The best place for this headset when not in use or charging is the closet under a stack of blankets. Such a shame.

Upgraded from my older corsair and i'm impressed. I do have problems with the feature that turns it off automatically sometimes but overall it's good. Sounds great and the mic quality is A1! A little expensive though.

Right out of the box you can feel the headset is well engineered. The matched tuned 50mm drivers deliver high end high res. frequency response. (10Hz-40KHz). Comfortable memory foam cushions. The omni-directional detachable microphone can't be beat at this price range. A quick charge provides me 20 hours of use. You can tweak the software sound profile using the 10 band EQ. Bottom line - this headset is audiophile worthy.

This headset feels good to wear for long gaming times. Reason my mix feelings on it, there are times that it has static been because something can interfere with it. You can set up different audio settings for different games which is great but beside the static , there is the mute button, I feel like if you have to mute a lot the button will break or just stop working but only time will tell

Real Good Headset and Worth To Spend Extra On

The virtuoso is a really nice headset and if you could get it on sale, then it’s a good buy. My previous headset was a Corsair hs70 pro wireless and that was alright, but the virtuoso’s audio was really clear, either on wired or wireless mode. The mic was a huge upgrade from the hs70 and my friends described it as almost podcast quality when used in wired mode. The one complaint I have is not of the headset itself, but Corsair’s program called ICUE which basically controls the settings of the headset. Do not use it for any audio adjustments as it will cause static noise to be heard when you play audio at low volume. ICUE can still be used to control your other settings like the rgb, but simply disable Corsair from making audio adjustments in the windows settings. You could download a 3rd party equalizer to adjust, but I’ve found it to be good enough at base settings. The fit and finish is really nice with the brushed aluminum and texture of the material. Only problem I have is the top cushion kinda makes a pressure point on my head, but it seems to be something that’s an issue with me as every head is different. Overall would definitely suggest you check this headset out.

Great audio and very comfortable! I like how these work with Corsair RGB software (iCue). Able to manage rgb colors, firmware updates, and sound settings via iCue. Volume wheel is the best I've seen.
