Don't buy to listen to music. Expect to tweak EQ.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you tweak the EQ settings in iCue, it sounds pretty decent. Decent enough for in game that I was going to keep them. But once I tried to play music? They sound HORRIBLE, no matter what EQ settings you use. Anytime there's the least bit of bass in the song, it automatically (and DRASTICALLY) reduces the volume, only for it to peak back up again until another bass drop - and it just continues. This is an issue that Corsair knows about because they have commented on more than one Customer Support thread on their website about trying to fix it, but 9 MONTHS LATER.. They haven't. And they quit responding to the thread. Extremely disappointed. I expected more out of Corsair. Definitely going to return them.
