Customers are saying

Customers admire the VIRTUOSO XT Wireless Gaming Headset for its sound quality, comfortable design, long battery life, and effective Bluetooth functionality. Some customers have noted the headset's weight and that the bass may not appeal to everyone. Others mention the wireless range could be better, the price is a bit high, and the associated software is not great. Overall, the positive features seem to outweigh the negative ones for most users.

Great headset! Nice upgrade from the standard or SE model but not a must have over those headsets unless you need Bluetooth connectivity. Besides adding Bluetooth to connect to a phone or TV, which you can mix with Wireless/USB audio, Corsair also added padding to the headband to reduce pressure on the top of your head. They improved the earpads as well, even though they look almost the same, they added a bit of padding and improved the seal so bass performance is a little better. On the older models, the earpads were too thin, and it was mandatory to swap them out for thicker pads available after-market. Same great mic as the SE. Also, not sure why people are having issues with these and Corsair iCUE software - I have three (a standard, an SE, and now an XT) and have never had any problems. I have a pair of Astro A50s and A40s as well, and these have a much better build quality and a way better mic. However, the Astros have the best noise gate and are probably more suitable if you're in an environment with a bunch of background noise.

Love this headset. It's such a game changer especially with Dolby Atmos. Sucks you have to pay a one time fee for it but it's definitely worth the money. Corsair stay on top except with ICUE. Icue is a garbage interface.

For starters, there is no power button. You have to let them timeout and go to sleep. Sound quality is decent, when they will actually connect to my PC. Connecting via the USB or Bluetooth and Windows thinks they are connected but no sound and no input from the mic. After disconnecting and reconnecting 3 or 4 times, it may or may not work. The Corsair app makes things even worse. I end up connecting my Samsung ear buds for meetings. My Steel Series headset works flawlessly. Stick with Corsair for you keyboard, mouse, and memory, go elsewhere for audio.

I've been using this headset for a while ever since I bought it. The sound quality is really great and immersive, and to this day i haven't found any other headset that is better then this current one. The microphone is great great clear quality especially with using the program that comes with it doby atmosit really brings out the immersive content especially for people like me . I'm legally blind so I rely heavily on sound when it comes to my video games . With the accurate sound of these headphones I am able to accurately track down my targets in game via sound alone, also, with the detail ``````````````````````headphones put out at allows me to be able to react effectively in combat and judged by the sounds how I should proceed in my fighting. I highly recommend this headset to anyone who is a pro gamer because these headphones are so good it can really help you see with your ears if you know how to pay attention to sound.

Ive used the regular Corsar virtuoso for about 4 years straight with no issue whatsoever. When I saw these, I instantly liked the look of the updated design. I bought these for use at work and gaming and quickly noticed the flaws everyone was talking about with this specific model. On the standard Virtuoso, the battery life would last me at least 2 days straight. On the XT's and with being charged overnight (8+ hours) the battery literally only lasts 2 hours before just randomly dying on me during a work call. Ive never owned a headset with such poor battery life. Its infuriating for the extra price you pay for this model. My second gripe is the boom mic. It seems very nice and sturdy but is infact very flawed and practically useless. Within a month or two the mechanism within the mute/unmute button gives out and becomes jammed inside of the mic with no way to open it up and fix it. It was a fight with Corsair to have them send a replacement for the boom mic as they originally told me they wanted me to buy a new one for $20 + shipping. After convincing them to send me a new one at no charge, the new mic broke down with the same issue, within a month or two (again) making it near impossible to mute/unmute my mic in between calls. When you work from home taking calls like I do, fighting with the mic like this is unacceptable. Where I give the headset points is its ability to pair with multiple devices through various different methods and its aluminum design seems very premium. Its just ashame that the quality doesnt flow throughout the entire product.

Amazing sound and very comfortable head set. Can wear it for hours. Only reason it is not 5 star is the batter does not last as long as advertised. You need this for Tarkov!!!

At first I thought they fit a little lose but it's just because there so light and comfortable. Sound is excellent and being able to connect to my PC and cellphone at the same time is really great. Range is excellent, and free Dolby Atmos is awesome. The mic quality is unbelievable and almost as good as a $100/$150 standalone podcast type mic

How to begin with this amazing headset. You quite literally get what you pay for. Next to all the Hyper X Headsets I've owned, and the sole Logitech G935 Artemis headset, this is hands down a fantastic headset. The Audio quality is superb and made me tingle when listening to all my favorite EDM / JDM / Jpop songs, pleasing my audiophilia, the Dolby Atmos goes STUPIDDDD. When in games, you can hear the faintest foot pitter patter near you, which has saved me countless times on CoD MW 2019 for Search n' Destroy. Next up is the Mic Quality. I always get told I sound crystal clear. Lastly is the fact you can connect a Bluetooth device like a phone AND be connected to the Corsair USB Hub at the same time so you can use multiple devices on the SAME headset, blew my mind. The price is absolutely nothing to rave about as you can get better quality at a cheaper price by Hyper X, but for what it's worth with the build quality, audio quality, style, and general cloud feel on your head, it makes it slightly more worth it. Already having a friend getting a pair because of my recommendation.

Audio quality is above average 7.5/10 but not boomy if that is what you are looking for. The mic though is really high quality 10/10 and makes you sound as if you were peforming a podcast according to my friends. Comfortability is about 8/10 sometimes i have to readjust back to where i like it on my head.

Great headset and feel comfortable. Having Bluetooth as an option also help with connecting to my phone or my steam deck so I can play game without having to connect it via usb. The battery usually last me a week but I mostly only use it 4 hours daily when I m studying or playing games.

I sturdy and reliable headset. Been using it for close to a year now and it has worked as expected and quality has been consistent. The band is reliable and hasn't shown signs of breaking after strenuous use. Great purchase in my opinion. iCue profiles are a great companion and sound quality is great.

I was using a corded lower end Razer headset prior to this, and had been wanting to go wireless for some time. Having recently acquired some other Corsair Products (Fans and Keyboard), I fell in love with the aesthetic of Corsair. I watched several review videos for this headset. The main feature that made me get this XT model, was the Dual Wireless feature, which allows me to connect to more than 1 device at the same time, which is amazing. The only downside for this product is the earpads aren't great and bothered my ears after an hour or two. I knew this going in and was easily able to find replacement earpads for about $20 and made them much more comfortable. The connectivity is very responsive, and I've had little to no issues so far with this headset. The build is very nice, and feels like a premium product, I'm babying these things for sure. The audio and mic quality of these are also superb, I've heard things in songs that I have never heard before. I would recommend these to anyone who would find use in connecting to more than 1 device at the same time.

I recently bought this headset after a very trying time in the form of the Arctis 7's from SteelSeries, but these have seriously revived my attitude regarding expensive wireless headsets! Out of the box, their presentation is magnificent, the headphones have amazing build quality, and all around I love them. I do not plan on buying any other headsets for a very long time as I'm comfortable in saying I'm confident that these will last. I however did find that updating to iCUE 4 made me feel like I was going mad, took me 6 hours. Suggestion for updating iCUE from version 3 to 4: if it won't allow you to install, boot pc into safe mode and it should work (took me 6 hours to discover that lol). Otherwise I have no complaints, although Dolby Atmos is better IMO for EQ and sound. Overall though, I'd say these are the best headphones I've used. While the sound out of the box isn't particularly impressive, installing Dolby Atmos or setting up custom EQ's makes a world of difference. 10/10 will be buying these again. Good job Corsair, you've never failed to impress me yet!
