Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the VIRTUOSO XT Wireless Gaming Headset, along with its convenient Bluetooth functionality and long battery life. However, some users mention the headset's weight and that the bass response may not appeal to everyone. A few also point out limitations in wireless range and suggest the price point could be lower, while others note some software issues.

I previously had a Razor headset and found it very heavy, but this was a great upgrade for me. It's great that it has multiple ways to connect via Bluetooth and hardwire. Sound quality is superb and comfortable to use for a long time.

The sound is amazing and the 3d audio really makes you feel immersed in whatever it is you’re doing gaming, streaming vids etc. The muff are comity and the don’t make your head too hot all while being light enough to forgot they’re even on your head.

I was using a corded lower end Razer headset prior to this, and had been wanting to go wireless for some time. Having recently acquired some other Corsair Products (Fans and Keyboard), I fell in love with the aesthetic of Corsair. I watched several review videos for this headset. The main feature that made me get this XT model, was the Dual Wireless feature, which allows me to connect to more than 1 device at the same time, which is amazing. The only downside for this product is the earpads aren't great and bothered my ears after an hour or two. I knew this going in and was easily able to find replacement earpads for about $20 and made them much more comfortable. The connectivity is very responsive, and I've had little to no issues so far with this headset. The build is very nice, and feels like a premium product, I'm babying these things for sure. The audio and mic quality of these are also superb, I've heard things in songs that I have never heard before. I would recommend these to anyone who would find use in connecting to more than 1 device at the same time.

I recently bought this headset after a very trying time in the form of the Arctis 7's from SteelSeries, but these have seriously revived my attitude regarding expensive wireless headsets! Out of the box, their presentation is magnificent, the headphones have amazing build quality, and all around I love them. I do not plan on buying any other headsets for a very long time as I'm comfortable in saying I'm confident that these will last. I however did find that updating to iCUE 4 made me feel like I was going mad, took me 6 hours. Suggestion for updating iCUE from version 3 to 4: if it won't allow you to install, boot pc into safe mode and it should work (took me 6 hours to discover that lol). Otherwise I have no complaints, although Dolby Atmos is better IMO for EQ and sound. Overall though, I'd say these are the best headphones I've used. While the sound out of the box isn't particularly impressive, installing Dolby Atmos or setting up custom EQ's makes a world of difference. 10/10 will be buying these again. Good job Corsair, you've never failed to impress me yet!

My current gaming setup, it could use a bit more bass but overall it gets the job done. Noise cancelation is awesome I have 3 kids running around so the house does get a little noisy when I have these one the noise doesn't phase me

Great sound for games and I like that it can handle both phone and my computer at that same time. Out of the box music sounded terrible on my computer but loading Windows Atmos solved that. They are a bit small for my really big head, but I can still wear it comfortably for hours, just not perfectly.

The headset looks and feels premium. I ourchased it while it was on sale and I also used a certificate to further reduce the price. The sound quality is awesome and i really enjoy using the Bluetooth connection to my phone while gaming on my PC/Playstation/Switch/XBox.

I won't say that the audio quality is audiophile level, but that's not the reason I got them anyways. I got these in place of other more expensive gaming headset options, and they are very comfy and work quite well.

Best overall experience amongst others such as turtle beach’s and razer kraken. Not plug and play tho, I had to look up an EQ that sounded right to me. Love that I can link my phone to the headset via Bluetooth, very convenient. Also not too heavy, very comfortable and versatile.

I genuinely dont understand all the raving reviews around this headset. The only possibility that makes sense is that no one who is reviewing this gaming headset has ever used a pair of bluetooth headphones that were over $50. The build quality is outstanding and the comfort is decent but the main purpose of a headset or headphones is to hear sound through them. You buy better headphones because the sound coming through them is better. I guess that doesnt apply to gaming headsets because they all sound bad. This one is a particularly bad offender because at first they sound very good with crisp sound and a decent amount of detail coming through them until you realize that anything under about 60-80 hz is completely absent. You dont really realize it until you sit and intentionally listen to music to hear how they sound. I would be ok with that if they were around $120-150 but at $270 the sound quality on these is absolutely unacceptable. Theyre about on par with a pair of $50 bluetooth headphones but they put a boom mic and rgb so they can charge almost 6x that price. I returned these and for the same price as this I order a sennheiser pxc 550-ii currently on sale for $170 for music and a soundcore life tune xr for $100 to use on my pc. Both of these headphones blow the corsair completely out of the water in terms of sound quality, they're also better in terms of features too. If you actually care about sound quality and absolutely need a gaming headset for some reason don't buy these. Instead get a cheaper gaming headset for gaming and spend the rest of your money on a proper set of headphones. I bought these based on the raving reviews on youtube and other platforms but those people couldn't be more wrong. I thought this would fill the role of a gaming headset and good quality headphones for music but its just as bad as any other gaming headsets that are a third of the price of this.

Great headset from Corsair. I just miss the ability to flip up the microphone piece to mute the mic rather than having to reach up and hit a button on it. Other than that, the quality and comfort are amazing. Best sounding headset I've ever owned

If you need one headset for everything this is it, have great sound, and positional audio, however I can not main this on pc, I just find my other headphones slightly more comfortable, I do really like it for console gaming although you can’t change the audio profile for it, it’s just nicer to be untethered when playing on console. Mic quality is insane, can almost compare to my usb mic connected to my pc, overall a solid buy, even though it’s a bit pricey, recommended to a friend and he loves them.

Exceeding my expectations. Very crisp audio perfect for FPS gaming. No need for any extra tuning. Straight out the box gives an exceptional performance. Only down side when using wireless does not have far range. Going into the kitchen which is 1 wall away from computer will disconnect constantly.

I recently purchased my second pair of these headphones, having used the original pair for several years. The longevity of the first pair is a testament to the build quality of these headphones. While the headband eventually showed signs of wear after years of use, the headphones themselves remained functional. The sound quality is excellent, delivering clear and well-balanced audio that justifies the price point. Overall, I am very impressed with these headphones and would rate them 5 out of 5 stars.
