Customers are saying

Customers recognize the VIRTUOSO XT Wireless Gaming Headset for its impressive sound quality, comfortable design, and satisfactory battery life. The Bluetooth functionality is also well-received. However, some customers find the headset to be heavy, and the bass may not meet everyone's expectations. Additionally, a few users have noted that the wireless range could be better.

Good sounds, mic is great. The finish on the headphones are nice plus the lighting. Wish the battery life was longer and that you could manually control when the headphones are on and off. The ICue program is either too sensitive or unresponsive with time settings for the headphones turning off. I would set the turn off setting at 2 mins of idle time but they would cut off while watching videos and would require a head jiggle to turn them back on. On the other side if you leave the turn off time too long they just stay on depleting battery. I bought wireless headphones to be wireless but coming home and found that they were still on for half a day and require charging is disappointing (when they are timed to power off after 10 mins default).

These are by far the best headphones I've ever had the Honor of using. The Dolby Atmos makes it Incredible with the rich highs and deep lows. This is an EVERYTHING pair of headphones. Go running, workout, climb a mountain, or even just game. These headphones are the headphones that let you actually hear those enemy footsteps coming from the back left. It does such a great job of immersing you into movies and games by having the audio come from all around.

    The Mario of gaming headsets....

I give this headset an overall 4.7 out of 5. It's definitely not the best at everything but IMO its pretty good to excellent at everything it can do. For a headset that can be used from mobile, PC/Mac and consoles I can definitely overlook some of it's shortcomings and it's high price point. I've used this for work as a plug and play wireless headset for conference calls, a wired headset for my gaming PC, my phone with Bluetooth to talk, listen to music and play gamepass/mobile titles, and though not my main headset, I've also used it for my consoles. For the most part using this on multiple devices, it's pretty seamless. Though there are other headsets that can do the same and might do it better in some aspects , the Virtuoso XT is the Mario of the gaming headset world. You want this headset for it's all around capabilities and versatility....just like good ol' Mario. If you need the best headset for FPS gaming, you can definitely find cheaper and better or equal sounding options. The same goes for Music, console gaming, streaming, etc....there's better options. However, if you are not leaning towards a certain necessity or you just want a headset for everything then these headsets are worth a try even at it's price point. A couple of things I wished this headset had would be some form of ANC and maybe a cleaner look like the HS70s, for it's price I don't think that's too much to ask. Maybe Corsair will make a Virtuoso XT Pro...jk.

Its a good headset in the sound department. However, it is very hard on the ears (unless you buy seperate but better quality ear pieces). They also can be hard on the top of the head so i recommend getting a head protected part. Overall feeling wise its not too good, but the sound overall is beautiful.

Headset is a small upgrade over previous versions with integrations such as Voicemod and the ICUE software tuning these headphones is a breeze. Only negatives for me would be the distance in which it disconnects and that wasn't too big of upgrade in sound quality.

I really thought I had found the unicorn of headphones in this Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT, but I was so wrong. Connectivity options are great. Sound quality is great. Works with PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, and phone. Comfort is ok. They insulate heat and get uncomfortable over longer durations though. But, the main reason why I am returning these is that the wireless range is absolutely terrible. I needed wireless headphones specifically so I'm not stuck at my desk during long virtual work meetings (WFH), and I can only get 13 paces from my desk before the signal starts to drop. I can't even go to the kitchen or the bathroom while in a work meeting, and that is absolutely inexcusable. The Logitech G935 these replaced got 2-3x the range on the same 2.4Ghz protocol for half the price. Sure, the G935 wasn't as nice as these, but despite having amazing features these fail hard at their primary reason for existing. Really very disappointing.

      Hello JRSDCA,

Sorry to hear that you are getting poor range. Could you try moving the wireless dongle to a different USB port? Such as from the rear to the front of the system? If you're still having issues with wireless range, please feel free to reach out to our support team so we can assist you directly: support.corsair.com

Good audio quality, many inputs can be used at once, and really comfy. But it creates a staticy noise every once a while, you would have to unplug it to fix it.

Overall, these headphones are good. They have great audio and are pretty easy to use. My only complaint is that the original earmuffs are somewhat uncomfortable if you have glasses on while using when you first get them. (Purchased on sale for 1/3 off)

The headset has a pretty neutral sound signature. If anything, it prioritizes communication and game effects over things like music. You can EQ this to suit your needs though. The mic has great quality but it is a small step down from the non XT version that I had before. The ear cushions that come with it are nice enough, but I do suggest "Wicked Cushions" to elevate your comfort even more and allow for prolonged usage scenarios.

This headset is everything you’ll need without all the fuss. Just plug the adapter in and you’ll have an amazing gaming experience. The ear cuffs are somewhat lacking in quality though so you might need to pick up an extra pair on Amazon. The free Dolby Atmos license is also a very nice addition to the package. The build quality is top-notch and you’ll notice a hefty weight to the headset, which I enjoy.

Before picking up the Virtuoso XT’s I didn’t some research and wondered it was a worth the upgrade from the predecessor SE. Taking into account the Bluetooth and comfort upgrade I caved in got it. For the month I’ve had it I’ve love it. The spinach is amazing wired and just as good wireless and with the comfort upgrade I can’t complain and am about to use them for a whole gaming session, (2-6 hours). The only think I can nit pick at is the battery life being shorter than the SE’s but it is forgiven as it has cross listen with Wireless and Bluetooth. 9.5/10 would recommend!

Do yourself a favor and get this headset. The sound quality is incredible and the microphone is the best I have ever had. I went back and listened to some recordings of my old mic tests and the difference is huge. Some things I really like that I did not notice as selling points are the little light at the end of the mic that is green when your mic is on and red when you're muted, and when you pick the headset up it automatically turns on. The quality of the headset is very high too, very solid construction and nice materials. Very happy with the money I spent.
