Customers are saying

Customers admire the VIRTUOSO XT Wireless Gaming Headset for its sound quality, comfortable design, long battery life, and effective Bluetooth functionality. Some customers have noted the headset's weight and that the bass may not appeal to everyone. Others mention the wireless range could be better, the price is a bit high, and the associated software is not great. Overall, the positive features seem to outweigh the negative ones for most users.

Overpriced But not a terrible headset

Corsair Virtuoso Is a headset designed to be comfortable to use while delivering quality audio to it's customers all while spread to several platforms. The headset is heavy and can feel cumbersome after extended use. The design on it's side while cool isn't needed since you see so little of it anyways plus it adds more weight to it. Pros: - Detachable mic is a minor plus if you already have a stand mic. - Memory foam ear cups provide solid comfort -Solid access to multiple platforms Cons: -Overpriced. These headphones do not sound as good as they should for the price. The amount that I had to fiddle with the equalizer just to get decent audio is one step unneeded. -Heavy. Extended use of these will wear you down and will feel like you need to remove it to breath. -Outclassed. Even comparing other headsets outside of brand. The corsair void is a cost effect version of these headsets and they cost 150$ less. -Requires being plugged into usb for full quality. Consider looking into Razer barracuda x. Much cheaper, better quality and can access into more devices then this headset can

Very durable, great sound and you can replace ear pads and mic if needed. The last pair we bought over 2 years ago, they still work but are showing signs of massive use. Our son uses these everyday, several hours a day on weekdays and probably 20 hours over the weekend. They have held up better then anything we have ever had before. Most brands haven't made it a year with the extended use that they get. Worth paying the price for they quality all the way around. Will stay with this brand for the quality they continue to bring and consistency of the product.

Sounds great and is very comfortable. It does lack some range though. It is very useful since you can connect it to different types of connectors and Bluetooth.

Is this worth the money you spend on it? No. I specifically bought them for the microphone and, when it works, it is great. Unfortunately, after some time, the microphone will stop responding and will not respond again for the rest of the time you have the headset on. There is a workaround for this, that is to keep it plugged in but set it to wireless rather than wired. If you run it wireless without plugging it in or run it wired and plugged it, the mic will stop working. The other thing is, it is heavy and it drags down on the top of your skull - granted, I have a long face, but I haven't had that issue with other headsets. The RGB color settings are lame. The application is not good to configure it. Other than that, it sounds good, the mic sounds good when it is working, you can connect to 2 devices at once, it looks nice. If they had a better application to manage it and resolved the issue with the microphone (which they won't, people have complained about this for years), this would be a solid 4, maybe even a 4.5. It is too heavy to be a 5 for me.

I've owned quite a few different gaming headsets in my day. From Xbox, turtle beaches, Asus. But these are the longest lasting, nicest sounding pair I've ever owned. The first pair o owned later from 2019 to 2024, and immediately I went to get the exact same pair.

Amazing headset. As others might have mentioned, you will need to replace the ear pads for something more comfortable. Easy peasy. There are plenty of youtube videos or just buy earpads with the 50mm adapter already in place. Crystal clear clarity on the mic. Others were shocked with how it sounded. I was blown away as well. I mainly use this headset as just a headset. But when i dont want to use my AT2020+ i'll use the mic and it works perfectly. These cans can be a bit heavy but i noticed i can play for a while without having it hurt. I use dolby atmos app and i use their equalizer to set it to my preference. I am amazed at how clear and how i can hear other notes in a song that i somehow missed with my other headsets. It is quiet expensive but i am going to use this headset until they die. Worth it.

Quality all around -- great sound, functionality and comfort. I found these to be better than other "high end" headphones (I ordered a pair of "DROP + EPOS PC38X Gaming Headset") and had all members of my family agreed that the Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT was the best choice in comparison to the to other brand. My wife found the DROP + EPOS PC38X Gaming Headset to be uncomfortable but better sounding (she's normal sized), however, the other members of my family (including myself) found the Corsair - Virtuoso RGB XT to a better choice both with the quality, sound and sound. I also think the functionality is also great. Lots of neat features especially with iCue (Corsair's RGB program).

I have a small head and these fit great around my ears and are adjustable. The mic is detachable which is nice, because it's very annoying to try and eat around the mic. I unplug my mic a lot and because of that I think the connection port will be an issue in the future. The audio is great for me but my friends say it's difficult to hear me even with a mic boost all the way up. I wouldn't buy this headset again but it is comfortable.

A great headset for Pc and Playstation. I had been looking online for a new headset and managed to come across the Corsair Virtuoso. I was skeptical at first but after giving it a try, I made the decision to keep the product. There are pros and some cons. The first thing I noticed with the headset was the quality. It feels durable and comfortable. There is some weight to it and the cushion feels great. You also can attach and detach the mic (unlike other headsets) which is a plus. This one is obvious, but I do want to mention that it is wireless. You can also have this headset connected to multiple devices. Next, the only two cons that I noticed were sound quality and battery. You can definitely adjust the sound with a different app, however, you would expect higher sound quality for the price. Also, battery life is okay but not that great. A full charge would last me about 5 hours. Another thing to mention is that this device can't connect two an X-box. Overall, great product with some cons, but can be dealt with.

I had been eyeballing these since their release but could never bring my self to spend the money on them. My last two headsets were Corsair RGB Voids so I was keeping tabs on the prices of these. When they dropped $100 for the holiday season of 2023 I finally decided to drop the cash on them. Comfort: I find the headset comfortable to use for gaming sessions. Although I knew I would more than likely end up ordering some aftermarket ear cups from WickedCushionz. The stock cups are very very thin and will cause your ears to touch the drivers, over time causing fatigue. My ears sit very close to my head and I still run into this issues. I accepted this before buying, even though its kind of sad at this price point. At least they supply a really nice carrying case for a headset that will never leave my game room. Build Quality: The over all build feels solid and well constructed. I could see them holding up physically until the battery starts to degrade over time. It is a hefty headset but I do not find the weight to cause any fatigue, especially when compared to the thin cups causing ears to touch the drivers. Mic: The mic seems to be very well made, even thought I am not a fan of detachable mics. I much rather prefer a flip to mute style mic boom. Having said that, listening to my own voice recording seem to be of very clear quality. Audio: The audio is one of the better ones I have used from a wireless gaming headset. Sounds rich and full for wireless gaming headset. The included Atmos beefs this up a bit. Great positional audio in games. Connections: One of the main selling points for me was the multiple connection options and the ability to use and charge at the same time. The wired connections seem to work without issue but I honestly did not spend a lot of time testing them. The Bluetooth connections is on par with any other device using Bluetooth. However you lose audio quality and the ability to use the Atmos software. The 2.4 wireless via USB slipstream dongle is absolute crap. The moment I breach my game room door way I start losing connection. Conclusion: Overall for under $200 this is a pretty nice headset for most people out there. However for me I will be returning. There is no point in investing in wireless technology that fails to work properly outside of wired ranged. I know there is 2.4 wireless interference issues but my last two Corsair Void Wireless headset had zero issues with the wireless devices in my house. Also let me go ahead and quash Corsair's weak support responses. Changing USB ports does not matter. USB 3.0 interference is not causing any issues. My desktop is the highest object in my game room, it is closer to my ceiling than my desk. My tower is turned with the back I/O panels facing me. I have used the slipstream dongle in USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports (front, back and hub). I have changed the slipstream dongle from single device to multipoint access and back. I have disabled USB selective suspend in Windows power options. I have even used a 6 foot USB extender cable to move the slipstream dongle away from the desktop. Nothing changes this device's subpar 2.4 wireless range. I almost forgot; While in 2.4 wireless mode the sound will sometimes glitch out. It sounds like a 1950s radio in a tin can. Only fix is to unplug the dongle and plug back in. All in all I would say this headset is held back by the lackluster performance of the slipstream dongle and its crappy antennas.

This is the best headset I own. I tend to run two wireless sets and if the charge dies I like to switch out instead of plugging in. Out of all the sets I've used. This set has lasted the longest and sounds the best. The Mic is one of the best I've used. Easy Plug and play setup. I would like to see them at a lower price point. At least $25. By the time they need to be replaced due to wear, I believe the price will have dropped enough to up my grade on price.

Meet most expectations. Bluetooth range is okay but had better. Kinda feel flimsy. Fit head okay as I have a bigger noggin. Mic quality sounds good for the price range. Not sure there worth the 270$ asking price. Maybe 200$ or lower. There are better headphones out there that can do more for the buck. Overall happy is happy can be.

So far so good, excellent audio detail, I'm hearing in game sounds I just couldn't get with desktop speakers. Premium feel, comes with a dolby license for atmos, which sounds excellent. Mic is clear and Nvidia broadcast does a decent job of isolating my voice and blocking background noise. My office is fairly quiet so your mileage may vary. Round ear cups fit over my entire ear no problem, very comfortable. My only gripe is the clamp force could be stronger, they are weighty and tilting my head too much causes them to fall forward or back. Otherwise very good, happy with my purchase
