I really want to like this headset since it's light weight and comfortable for glasses wearers, but there is an awful static noise that is constantly on in the background. This seems to be a common issue, since there is a lot of mention of this, with no good fix available. I exchanged at Best Buy for another pair, but the second pair had the same issue. I tried contacting Corsair customer support, and I had to go back and forth with them to finally find out I would have to pay shipping for the defective product in order to get another headset. I will sadly be returning. I'm sure this static noise issue will just keep occurring anyway.

I'm not certain what could be causing it, but does sound like interference might be the case here. It doesn't affect most people but with everything nowadays being wireless then it just can't be helped in some situations.

But this wireless model has a huge flaw. Even if you turn off the voice notifications, it will do a quiet beep, during that time you cannot hear anything, it may cause your I-cue to pop up; and if you playing your game; possibly be a the worst time. Its seems like it happens when they are about at 50% charge. But if you are gaming for 2 hours , you have to charge again. So, why not have just purchased a wired pair?
