The CORSAIR VOID v2 Wireless Gaming Headset in Carbon has completely transformed my gaming experience — and it’s easily earned a full five stars. Right out of the box, the sleek design and lightweight build make it clear this headset was crafted with gamers in mind. The memory foam ear cushions wrapped in breathable microfiber fabric mean I can play for hours without fatigue, and the comfortable fit doesn’t pinch or get hot even during marathon sessions. Sound quality is phenomenal for a wireless headset in this price range. The custom-tuned 50mm drivers deliver deep bass and crisp highs that make explosions, footsteps, and music feel incredibly immersive. Add Dolby Atmos spatial audio into the mix, and positional cues in competitive games feel sharper and more accurate than I expected. Battery life is another standout. I easily get multiple sessions out of one charge — Corsair advertises up to 70 hours on 2.4GHz wireless and up to a staggering 130 hours on Bluetooth — and fast charging gives several extra hours with just a short 15-minute top-up. Dual wireless modes (low-latency 2.4GHz for gaming and Bluetooth for mobile) make switching between platforms effortless. The omni-directional mic ensures clear team comms, and iCUE support lets me tailor EQ settings to my taste. Overall, this headset delivers premium features, comfort, and performance at a fantastic value — a must-have for any gamer.

The Corsair Void V2 is a great mid-tier headset that should satisfy the needs of most users. It’s surprisingly comfortable, and the sound is actually quite impressive, especially if you’re listening to Dolby Atmos content. Here are a few things to note: No Slipstream – I was really hoping this headset would support Slipstream so I could use it alongside my Corsair mouse and keyboard, ideally consolidating everything into a single Slipstream dongle. Unfortunately, this headset only supports Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless, with no Slipstream option. Flexibility – This headset really shines in terms of flexibility. Switching between PC, PlayStation, phone, etc., is quick and easy. The mic boom is also very adjustable, but unfortunately the mic is restricted to a single side (the left). RGB and Aesthetics – The RGB lighting is excellent, all of the colors are bright and vibrant. Aesthetically, the headset looks great. It’s beefy, but still looks sleek and modern. Overall, it’s a great headset that checks all the boxes for most people. I do wish the mic could be used on either side, and I’d prefer it have removable mic for when I want to use them as just headphones. Still, those are luxury preferences rather than actual necessities.

The Corsair Void Wireless v2 has a lot going for it. I don't really understand the value of RGB on a gaming headset, so I'm left wondering if it would be a better deal if it was priced a little lower without any RGB, but since so many headsets under $150 come with RGB I guess it's a required feature at this point. #Unboxing and first impressions# The Corsair Void Wireless V2 comes in a pretty standard box and doesn't come with a lot of frills. The box has the headset itself, an extremely large USB-A dongle, and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable. The mic is permanently attached to the headset. The Void v2 feels very light but sturdy, and it has very plush feeling cloth padding. #Using the Void Wireless V2# The Void V2 is extremely comfortable on my head. The padding for the headband and ear cups is cloth and while not extremely soft textured, it has very decent padding that's pliable enough to not put pressure on my glasses. From a sound quality perspective, the Void V2 sounds pretty good for a gaming headset in this price bracket. I personaly prefer headphonese that aren't overly boomy and the Void V2 fits this perfectly. Corsair includes a Dolby Atmos license for the headset, so there's a decent value-add there. The microphone is fantastic for the Void V2. I immediately got compliments for the mic quality when I joined both Discord and work meetings with the Void V2 on, and these are people that I often use standalone mic mounted to a boom arm to talk with. The RGB on the headset is "there" but it's mostly unobtrusive. There are two small light bars on the front side of the headset. It's possible with some glasses or a gloss finished display that you might see reflections of the lights, although I didn't have this problem. You can control the lights and sync them with other Corsair accessories via their iCUE software. The biggest negative with the headset is the giant size of the USB dongle. It's crazy big, and uses USB-A which is becoming harder and harder to justify in 2025 in my opinion. On the plus side, I got really good range with the Void V2. I could easily go down to my kitchen and maintain a conversation without the audio breaking up. #Final thoughts# Comparing the Void V2 to other wireless gaming headsets I've used over the last few years, it slots in very high on the list in terms of microphone quality. The mic has great sound and it is very adjustable thanks to the thin design of the boom. Overall sound quality for music is good, though it lacks the tight bass of some more expensive headsets that I've reviewed. For gaming, it has a very balanced sound and includes Dolby Atmos for games that don't have Atmos built in. If the dongle was either much smaller or was USB-C with an adapter for USB-A like most devices now, it would get a higher score from me.

I had the 1st gen of this model for a few years before upgrading to the HS80’s I currently use. bought these for my girlfriend and the quality of audio was night and day to her old off brand headset and yeti mic combo. With discord noise suppression, room noise, coughs, sneezes, and sweaty breathing are kept from your teams voice channel, my favorite feature. Comfortability is an important factor, I was pretty impressed with the weight of them and these are great for people with big ears, if you spend large amounts of time with headphones on, can confirm these are great!

Headphones are a solid pick in terms of build, sound, mic quality, and pretty much anything else you can think of but don’t excel in anything specific. I think they look quite nice (quite gamer-y) and have some nice rgb. The rgb is just a battery killer but I just turned it off in icue and would recommend anyone else to since you don’t see it. I’ve heard people say they could see the rgb while they wear it, but I have never had that issue. The headphones are reasonably comfortable but I wear glasses and start to feel pain after a while due to the pressure of the headphones on my glasses frames. I haven’t had them for too long so perhaps they just need to break in. One of the biggest reasons I chose these was the battery life. Although I haven’t really stressed tested it I haven’t had any issues with it. For most people you would likely charge it 1-3 times a week. The mic is undetachable, adjustable (not rigid and can bend), and flips up and down. You can set the mic to mute when you flip it up which is a nice feature. Not really any complaints here. I can’t say the headphones have a ton of value , but are definitely a good choice if you can find them on sale. Otherwise there are probably better options.

They feel comfortable and the audio sounds amazing. The battery life lasts a long time and gone about a week on a charge. I have it connect to both my PC and Switch 2. One press of a button and I'm able to switch between the two. It was on sale at the time, so the price was very good.

As with anything that has rechargeable batteries, it is subjective to use. Like these, if you have the LED lights on, using the 2.4Ghz and high volume, it won’t last as long. But, on Bluetooth, without the LED you could get 130 hours of usage. This is days worth of use without ever needing a charge. Even on 2.4Ghz you are looking at about 70 hours. With that, you can use a fast charger and in a few minutes have a couple more hours worth of audio. The headset is pretty light and simple. You have 2 buttons and a volume rocker that can also be pressed for programmed functions. Microphone can be muted with the flip of the mic or programmed on the press of the rocker button through the iCUE software. You can program some other settings through the iCUE software, like the lighting patterns and the EQ but you can’t change the functions of the multi-function button, which will play/pause or change tracks of an audio player if supported and answer/end calls on phones. Despite the headset feeling fairly light, I personally do not like the feel of the fabric they used on the earcups. They are pretty stiff so it keeps the headset from pushing on your ears, but the fabric is rough. It feels a bit softer than a burlap sack but nothing like the micro-fiber used on so many other headsets. The range of these are hit or miss. If you don’t have a clear line of sight between the 2.4Ghz dongle or the Bluetooth device, it will disconnect often. My computer is a few feet away from me, but if the dongle is on the top of the PC, making it behind the monitor, it becomes practically useless. But, if it is on the side where I can see the dongle, it works fine. Audio quality is mid. If you enable Dolby Atmos or Windows Sonic you can’t use any of the EQ functions in the iCUE software and for some reason, these headphones lose all bass if it isn’t modified with the EQ. I often use a different brand of headphones with Dolby Atmos and the audio quality always felt really defined and the bass was deep. However, these just feel like they amplify the mids and highs when in either of the other modes. However, without them, you can make it sound better, you just don’t get that spatial audio effect that Dolby Atmos provides. Overall, they aren’t too bad if you are using them with a PC and use the iCUE software to modify the sound. They clearly intend for these to be for streamers with the LED lights that serve no other purpose other than drain the battery. But, as a gamer that doesn’t stream often, I prefer my other headset that just sounds and feels better than these.

I’ve been really happy with it so far. The sound quality is solid—everything from footsteps in games to music comes through clear, and the surround sound makes a noticeable difference when gaming. Comfort is probably my favorite part. I can wear it for hours without it bothering me, and it doesn’t feel too heavy on my head. The ear cushions are soft and don’t get uncomfortable even during long sessions. The mic is also pretty decent. People can hear me clearly, and I haven’t had any complaints during calls or gaming. Setup was quick and easy too—just plug in and you’re good to go. It’s a reliable headset that does what it’s supposed to do without any issues. Definitely a good option if you want something comfortable with good sound for gaming or everyday use.

Bought this headset to replace my old wired headset and i have loved everything about it. Battery life is super long, i hardly charge it more than once a week and i game about 4 hours a day. Sound and mic quality is decent, i havent had any issues at all. It is extremely comfortable and can wear it all day. It also doesnt squeeze mt ears like cheaper headsets do. Its range is also rather big allowing me to walk out of the room and still talk. Honestly havent really found any cons. Its exactly what i wanted and more.

I recently purchased the Corsair Void V2 headset, and I couldn't be more impressed! Right out of the box, it's clear that comfort was a top priority in its design. The plush ear cups and adjustable headband make it feel light and cozy, even during extended gaming sessions. The sound quality is exceptional—crystal clear audio with rich, immersive tones that truly enhance both gaming and music experiences. Whether I'm deep in a game or listening to my favorite playlist, the audio performance is consistently outstanding. Another standout feature is the battery life. It holds a charge remarkably well, allowing me to enjoy hours of uninterrupted use without constantly worrying about recharging. This reliability adds a whole new level of convenience. Overall, the Corsair Void V2 is a fantastic headset that excels in comfort, sound quality, and battery life. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier audio experience!

The microphone is clear and reliable, with flip-to-mute functionality and noise reduction that keeps my voice clean during voice chats and streams. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the EQ out of the box leans a bit bass-heavy, but a quick tweak in the iCUE software fixed that to my taste. Overall, Corsair knocked it out of the park with the Void V2. Great audio, comfort, and battery life in a stylish package—highly recommended for anyone looking to level up their wireless gaming setup.

CORSAIR - VOID v2 Wireless Gaming Headset Review

Good pair of headphones. I love how you're able to switch between two devices with a press of a button and it's comfortable to wear for long sessions. I love the mic as well, I think the sound it picks up is nice. And the audio itself is on the warm side. However, I've been using the headset for about 4 months now, and I'm starting to notice that there is a creaking sound when I move my head. It probably doesn't help that the headset also doesn't clamp to the head as much as I'd thought. So that also makes the external noise cancellation pretty bad. My room can get noisy at times so when I put these headphones on it doesn't do much to stop those sounds from entering my ears. Good set but the noise cancellation is the only thing that puts me off from it. Otherwise, it's great :)

Amazing battery life. Comfortable and light. Being able to sync up with bluetooth or 2.4ghz is really handy. Once you figure out how to press the right buttons with it on your head, it is a great headset for the price. Needing to use the Corsair app to adjust settings is a little annoying but understandable.
