I have had many wireless headsets over the years. Most of them get the job done, but it's not often I come across a medium-budget model that checks all of my boxes. This new Void v2 headset is a great value overall. Battery life is very impressive at well over 40 hours. Sound quality is great for the price, and this headset has been rock solid for Discord and Teams calls. I also love the inclusion of a flip-to-mute microphone. I can tolerate a mute button on a headset if it is in a convenient location, but flip-to-mute is by far my favorite to use. I also had no issues flipping between the usb dongle and bluetooth inputs to my cellphone, which is another great feature. I also like how the iCue software lets you disable the RGB lighting completely to squeeze out maximum battery life. Charging times have been reasonable and in line with other headsets I've used recently. Overall this has been a great mixed-usage headset for me, and it's light and comfortable to wear for long calls or gaming sessions. Highly recommended in this price range for comfort, build quality, and features.

The device constantly disconnected, and after three weeks, it would not connect at all. I went through various troubleshooting options from restarting the headset to uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. They sound great, until they don't sound at all.

This Corsair Void wireless v2 gaming headset is an excellent choice. The quality of build is obvious right out of the box. They are hefty, not flimsy. There is thick foam for comfort on the headband and ear cushions and they are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The ear cushions and headband are very comfortable and can be worn for hours with no problem. Connects to many devices quickly and easily. It's compatible with many devices including PC, Switch, mobile, PS4 and PS5. The Dolby Atmos spatial audio gives 3 Dimensional sound in games to immerse you in the battles, letting you hear where the competition is, giving you an edge in game. Voice through the microphone comes through clear. Flip to mute control is quick, convenient and works great. The battery has a very long life before needing to be recharged, longer if not using RGB lighting. The RGB lighting is a nice touch without being overbearing. It's a great gaming headset, works great, and is very comfortable. I recommend it.

The sound crashed with my laptop I guess because of the power my laptop required so I had to buy a extra usb’s apparatus and connect the Bluetooth there for it to stop crashing.

With so many options to choose from, when it comes to gaming headsets, it can get pretty difficult choosing the right one. One thing is for sure, I always consider the brand when choosing a new headset because it really can make a huge difference in features and quality. With that being said, Corsair is one of my favorite brands of products when it comes to anything gaming/PC related. They have something for just about any budget. The Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset is no exception. The Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset features incredible sound quality, great battery life, and are very lightweight and comfortable around your head. I've used the Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset for a few days now and the battery is still going strong on the very first charge. The audio quality is amazing and the microphone is just as great. All audio is crisp and clear. I can wear these for days! They are very comfortable around my head and ears. Some headphones tend to cause a bit of discomfot around my ears to tight tension, but the Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset are just right. If you are looking for a new set of gaming headsets...look no further. The Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset is great!

So I'm a little bit of an audiophile - I mainly use some nice planar magnetic headphones for listening on my computer. Unfortunately it's not comfortable for extensive wear, for example gaming. These are super lightweight compared to my other earphones, and it sounds pretty good! Be sure to utilize the included Dolby Atmos license - just download the app from your sound settings on your computer. It REALLY improves the sound, especially when playing games that support it. It is very comfortable and doesn't heat the heck out of my ears while wearing for long periods. The thing that blows me away the most is the wireless range when using the dongle! My computer is on one side of the house on the second floor, and the kitchen is on the opposite side of the house downstairs. Just walked down to grab a drink and had no sound quality drop, skipping, or other issues you would usually see with limited wireless range. If I had one complaint, I wish the dongle was USB-C rather than USB-A. I imagine it makes it a pain to plug into a Nintendo switch without an adapter.

Cant recommend this product based on the fact it lasted about 10 weeks. Had audio issues from the start and now it wont connect. Have messed with it for a hour and bluetooth and the usb dongle wont connect. This is the second Corsair headset that died in 4 years now. Both being brand new units always taken care of and never dropped or abused.

Dolby Atmos with Spatial Audio is amazing as it brings that really nice true surround sound experience while being able to pick up and emphasize those background/surrounding area noises when playing RPG games and other games where sounds of movement are vital to know the location(s) of your opponents. The battery in these varies on the level of sound needed, but lasts for quite some time without having the need to charge as often as others. With the improved ultra-fast connectivity options, there is no noticeable lg in communications or gameplay audio. The omni-directional microphone is brilliant when it comes to best reduction of background noise with it’s easy flex and place design. Overall, this has a really nice design and feel when wearing as it not uncomfortable to wear. The ear pads cup your ears. Nicely while keeping them cool with how the pads are designed. Setup and connection is quick and easy via the latest Bluetooth and wireless capabilities built into the headset. This is one of the few highly compatible headsets across a good number of systems from PC, Mac, Mobile devices, and a limited number of gaming systems on the market today.

    GOOD VALUE

The Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset (Carbon) is a good value for gamers looking for a comfortable, sound-rich wireless option.  The headset's 2.4GHz wireless connection gives you a range of up to 40 feet, providing freedom of movement without connection drops. The design is comfortable, with plush memory foam earcups and a padded headband that eliminate pressure points during extended gaming sessions. The large earcups fit comfortably over your ears and can swivel for a comfortable fit during short breaks from gaming. The headband's adjustability is standard, fitting most users, and after several hours of gaming, the headset felt secured on my head with minimal movements. The audio quality is good, with the drivers delivering a balanced sound profile that enhances the gaming, music, and movie experience. The unidirectional microphone with flip-to-mute adds to the convenience, as does the pinwheel sound volume control. The pinwheel, power, and mute buttons are all on the left side of the earcup for easy access. According to Corsair, this headset has a long-lasting wireless battery life of up to 65 hours via 2.4 GHz with the RBG off on a single charge, providing reassurance for extended gaming sessions. You can charge the gaming headset by connecting the micro USB cable to the port under the left ear cup or a computer, or by using an adaptor to connect to an electrical outlet. The wireless connections are stable.  I did not have any issues with pairing the headset to my playstation or computer. The Bluetooth paired flawlessly. Although the microphone quality is not studio grade, my teammates reported clear voice quality during the gaming sessions. The Corsair Void Wireless v2 is a solid and comfortable wireless gaming headset that offers a good balance of features and performance for its price range. It's particularly well-suited for PC gamers and users who need seamless wireless compatibility across multiple platforms (MAC, Mobile, Playstation, Nintendo Switch). While it might not have the absolute best audio or microphone quality on the market, it provides a reliable and enjoyable wireless gaming experience.

    A Champ in Its Tier

[PROS] Superb Battery: I'm unable to vouch for the 70 hour battery life claim. But I can confidently say that battery life remained well above 50% after more than a dozen hours of usage. Longtime Comfort: In my extended use of the Corsair Void Wireless V2, I found the headset pleasant to wear. For starters, it engulfed my ears despite them being larger than normal. I didn't get extremely sweaty in those areas even with prolong use. Solid Audio/Microphone: Out of the box, the default EQ profile was fine. Bass was solid, but I did perform a few minor tweaks. The inclusion of Dolby Atmos is a game changer and quite necessary. Environments and action producing noises are distinct and very clear. I'm able to determine directional presence with ease which is a major plus. The Microphone works pretty well and filters out the unwanted sounds properly. Other Positives: The software is easy to use and changes registered immediately. Also, the physical interface of the headset has a simple design. [CONS] USB Dongle Limitation: I'm starting to run out of USB A ports on my consoles and Gaming PC. It would've been nice to been able to convert the dongle to a USB C connector. Xbox Exclusion: This does limit the versatility of this device, but its not a surprise to be missing a platform. Gaming headsets that include the "Big 3" consoles are rare and usually come at a premium. No Line-In Port: Being unable to use to a Xbox console wouldn't sting as much if wired connectivity was an option. However, this would lead to confusion about the product given the wired connection can only be done through the Xbox Series controller port which is designed for headphones and not headsets unless using a special adapter. Microsoft discontinued production of their official headset adapter long ago so a used device or third party is the only option. Yet, there's no guarantee that audio and mic quality would've been on par with the other supported platforms. [CONCLUSION] The Corsair Void Wireless V2 proves that it doesn't need to have all of the bells and whistles of premium headphones. It has more than enough for an enjoyable experience.

When it comes to "gaming" headset a lot of times the comfort and sound tend to be at best average and at worst downright terrible. But in this case, this updated version of the Void Wireless headset is actually pretty good. Obviously, it's not audiophile quality sound but for a decently priced headset its actually not bad and I don't mind listening to music or watching movies with the headset on. I feel the overall sound quality is actually really good and it's probably one of the few headsets where I don't feel like I have issues with the volume being too quiet even at max level. So much so that I could not turn the head set all the way up for fears that my ears might hurt afterwards. This thing gets plenty loud while still sounding really good. The other thing this headset has going for it is comfort. It has cloth earcups which is nice because I don't feel like my ears overheat and I'm able to wear the headset for several hours without my head feeling fatigued over a long session. This makes me want to reach for this headset over some of the other more expensive headsets I have laying around which is kind of unexpected. Finally, it's nice that I'm not limited to just being able to use this headset with my computer, I've been able to use it with both my Xbox and my phone which is a nice touch. Overall if you're looking for a decently priced comfortable, good sounding, and good volume headset this is a great option.

The Corsair void wireless V2 gaming headset, for Nintendo switch, PlayStation, Mobile, and PC, is an excellent fit. Excellent fit. I have an odd shaped head that from an overhead view is more shaped like an egg than a circle. This results in many headphones not being comfortable for me. These are adjustable enough that they were very comfortable for me and for my wife who has a very different shaped head. On top of the comfort, these headphones are designed to last. The box states that these can go for 65 hours without a charge if you are not using the Bluetooth feature and not using the RGB lighting, which I don't really have a use for. I find the lighting to be distracting. In my testing, it was easily able to go 35 hours on Bluetooth, I meant to let it go longer, but I just have a habit of always charging my devices. The microphone in it is fantastic. I love when headphones have flip to mute control, meaning you can just flip the microphone back out of the way and it will automatically mute. That said, the sound quality. Is fantastic from the microphone. Additionally, these headphones support Dolby Atmos, so the sound is awesome! Whether you are gaming or watching movies.

    High Performance, Small Compromises

I have been using the Corsair Void Wireless V2 Headset for approximately 3–4 weeks, primarily for gaming. Overall, my experience has been positive, though there are a few notable drawbacks worth mentioning. In terms of comfort, the headset performs reasonably well during long gaming sessions. However, the cushion firmness is a bit higher than I personally prefer, and during extended use, my ear tends to press against the internal speaker covering. This occasionally leads to minor ear discomfort. Sound quality is strong across the board for in-game audio, voice chat, and music. The microphone transmits my voice clearly to others without issue. However, when utilizing the microphone loopback feature to hear my own voice in the headset, the quality is poor, with audio coming through extremely muffled. This flaw detracts from the overall experience, especially during longer sessions where monitoring one's own voice is important. Wireless performance has been flawless. The connection is stable at all times, the range is sufficient for typical use scenarios, and the battery life is excellent. I have not needed to recharge it every night, which is a major convenience. The build quality appears solid. The headset feels sturdy in hand and maintains a visually appealing design. Although I do not often use advanced audio settings, I did explore some of the lighting customization options available through Corsair’s iCUE software. Given the limited lighting area on the headset, the customization is impressive, and the feature that allows lighting to change based on screen color works perfectly. Regarding physical controls, the button layout is acceptable. However, I have occasionally encountered an issue where flipping the microphone down does not always unmute it as expected, which can cause minor disruptions. In conclusion, I am satisfied with the Corsair Void Wireless V2 Headset. Despite a few small issues, the strong battery life, reliable wireless performance, and high-quality sound make it a worthwhile recommendation for others seeking a dependable wireless headset.

Not just for gaming, these headphones work well for Zoom and Discord conversations as well as general music enjoyment. Corsair has updated their Void wireless gaming headphones to include Bluetooth to the standard wireless (with included USB dongle) connectivity option. I had no issues connecting the headphones using either method. Wireless is instantaneous once the dongle is inserted, and I had no issues pairing multiple devices using Bluetooth. Signal strength and range is fantastic with either, as I did not experience signal drop out through multiple walls or at ranges greater than the stated 50 feet for wireless and 30 feet for Bluetooth. Audio quality and spatial accuracy are surprisingly good. They provide a balanced, full audio range and are not too boomy or tinny. The microphone does a great job of picking up vocal inflections and tones without coming across garbled. These headphones are well constructed, relatively light weight and comfortable to wear over long periods of time without feeling like they are squishing your head. Reasonably priced, these are worth looking into as an affordable headphone option.
