Corsair-XTM50 thermal paste

It's not bad. It does it's job. My temps have been fine, but the consistency changed half way through the tube. It got kind of clumpy.

Better than average... Maybe

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried many different types of thermal pastes throughout the years, ranging from Arctic MX-4, to the stuff NZXT puts on their AIO coolers. I didn't really find a difference between thermal temps on my CPU (11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700 not over clocked). What I did see is that this is a little thicker than Arctic's. The thermal paste comes with a neat little smear tool and mold. I did not use it, as I felt it would make more of a mess and I wouldn't get an even spread. I used the fail-proof technique I learned in my CompTIA A+ classes, and used a pea sized amount at the center of the CPU. Personally I prefer Arctic's MX-4, its blue color, and thinner which means it will smear easier. But that isn't available at BestBuy, so I ended up buying this as its super convenient.

No need to wait for something to be shipped

Put it on my i9 10900k with a cooler master hyper 212 with 1 fan in a nzxt 510 case. Cpu temps are at 60-70c streaming games, when it is warm in the house. With the ac on never goes over 60c. Also did my 1660 while I had it out, temps stay right at 50-60c when running on highest settings for hrs. Didn’t use the applicator or the stencil. Just put the amount that everyone says right in the middle of the chips. About 2 grains of rice, and tightened down evenly.

A little goes a long way. Now my consoles fan hardly turns up and hardly makes much noise now. Recommended!
