This will hopefully help in cooling down the CPU. I did replace the paste on my HP Spectre 360 and it appears that the bottom of the laptop doesn't get as hot as before.

So I'm not sure which one is giving the better performance boost or if it is a combination of them. Either way, CPU usually sits around 30-45C even when under load.

like spreading non stick clay

Paste came out of the tube like clay, when attempting to spread it came right off the cold surface and stuck to the applicator. Thought I was doing something wrong so I watched the video. My paste looks nothing like the paste in the video.. disappointing because everything I buy is corsair. Note picture with applicator is after numerous attempts to apply. Will order from somewhere else.
