This one has been a solid performer for me and I am very happy with the quality to value. If you are going to be doing extreme overclocking I would consider going with a more expensive paste, but for day to day operation or heavy gaming on stock parts you really can't beat TM30.

Worked fine, blob it on, make 3 small lines, an x or whatever. Its paste. Mostly want a thin layer of coverage.

Well, my thermals are fine so I don't see any issues. I imagine the temperature difference isn't drastic, but if you're building a top of the line rig, you probably don't mind spending a few extra dollars on premium components, even thermal paste.
