Why i enjoy this thermal paste

The stock paste was hard and didn't provide great cooling, but the XTM70 has significantly improved my system's thermal performance. The XTM70 paste is easy to apply and spreads evenly, ensuring optimal contact between the CPU and the cooler. Since switching to this paste, my CPU temperatures have dropped noticeably 41c, even under heavy load 65c. It's a bit pricey, but the performance boost is well worth it for anyone serious about keeping their system cool.

This is on a Ryzen 7 9800x3D CPU and a ThermalRight Peerless Assassin 120 Se Air cooler. The temperatures are reading around 50C with basic operations and 62C gaming on Baldurs Gate.

Refresh your Paste!

The issue that I didn't know was that my old Paste had dried and stopped being useful. After cleaning off and reapplying (with Corsairs easy to apply tools included) my core temps went down 5-10c to where I think it was when I first applied paste back in the day.

Xeon cooling
